1978 Peavey Century 200. My favorite bass amp. Love it's inherent tone, but once the Distortion circuit kicks in, it's even better! I had it fully gone through about 8 years ago, including a simple parallel cap mod connecting the preamp to the power amp that really increased the low end solidity.

1990 1x15" Scorpion Plus.
Great sounding cab, but it's a little cumbersome to move around, so it mostly stays in the basement. It would be amazing to have two of these with the Century.

Technically not a bass amp, but...
I also have a 1982 Special 130. This 1x12" Scorpion loaded combo stacked on the above 1x15" (or my homemade TL spec 1x12") and it's a fantastic Bass VI amp. Plenty of tone shaping with the sweepable mids and plenty of power, especially at 4 ohms when using an extension cab. Seems I don't have a picture of it!

My new band played our first show together last night. My Minimax and SWR Goliath III were beastly, getting a pretty decent rumble out of that floor. I'm super pleased with this little six pound box of thunder. What was I not pleased with? I apparently forgot to bring my clam filter pedal, because I was garbage. I think I had one song that I didn't screw up. HOWEVER! Crowd reaction was really, really good. I've never had that many people tell me they enjoyed our set. My bandmates said the same thing. Yay!

The Special 130 is a guitar amp, but like most 70s and many early 80s Peaveys, they are rather flexible in their role as an instrument amp for guitar, bass, keys, steel, etc... The S130 is the big brother to the same era/Solo series Bandit, but has twice the power and a sweepable mid control. It used to be a secret weapon for country guys that wanted an amp that was capable of being loud, clean, reliable and pedal friendly. However, a 130W Peavey power amp with a 12" Scorpion is also really nice for Bass VI or baritone. The open back cab isn't great for actual bass, but once it's also driving a proper extension cab, it is!
I owned 6 various Bandits from the Solo/Teal/Silver eras. However, the S130 is my preference, it just sounds better, less boxy.

Here's the Peaveys! S130 is ran into the 1x15" Century goes into the Kustom 2x12" (which has a Scorpion in the bottom position and a Hydrive in the top).

Can I get confirmation on this? Don't know if it's the 400B or the 400G, from this vantage point I can't tell...

That's a 400B. No reverb switch.

I'll join! I'm really surprised that there isn't a Peavey club already considering how prolific it is.

Have a old 200w Mark III . The one without the massive heatsick on the rear and rated for a 4 ohm load, not 2 ohms like later ones. The guy gave me a matching Peavey 115 cab as well. The cab has silver stripes and a BW but no ID info. It's in storage so no pics of that one. This thread is making me want to take it out of storage now lol.

Also have a Max 208 that I picked up last year. So happy with this piece of kit. Perfect for home!

I’ve got a Peavey power amp pushing my Eden pre, and also a BOOMING Peavey 2x15 cab equipped with Black Widow speakers that I have had for at least 30 years.

I bought that with my first 5-string, and it is slamming on that B string.

I think it was originally intended for keys, two small ports with drivers mounted sideways inside.

Those are some old and still bulletproof Peavey PA speakers next to it too.
