By the way, Bud, you mentioned the other day that you play in church. Where in Houston are you? Last I was in houston (early 2001) I made some friends at RiverPointe Baptist in Conroe.

Soundclips? Man, I wish I had the time. I don't have a good setup at the moment. At some point I plan on hiring one of Houston's first call drummers to lay down some tracks, but when, I don't know. There's a couple clips of the TRX-6 in another thread that a buddy of mine played on. Post #16.

That's sweet looking!

The black bridge works with the headstock and "pickguard" nicely.

Thanks guys. Yes, Racsen. It's Bolivian rosewood. I think the black streak kind of tethers the black hardware and ebony accents together.

These are turning out to be some fun little basses to play. They sound great!

This is going to be fretless with a macassar ebony fingerboard, black hardware, Nordstrand jazz pickups and an Audere 3-band preamp. The maple top will get a black dye job. I think this is going to be one of the best looking basses I've built.
