Playstation 4 VS Xbox One

damage is already done microsoft.

Yep. While I'm sure a few fan boys will come back to Xbox, I largely believe it's too little, too late. Besides, PS4 is still cheaper, it doesn't have the creepy kinect added on to it right out of the box, and Playstation's spokesman didn't tell people with little internet connectivity to p*** off like MS's did.

Microsoft might have some very good technologists working for them, but their PR completely stinks. It's good that they've relented on the DRM and game-lending stuff, but, like jmattbassplaya, i_got_a_mohawk and DwainieAD say, the damage has been done.

They seriously need to ditch their entire PR department. And Ballmer. Who is not a likeable human being and not a good ambassador for the company.

However, I might at least consider the possibility of the Xbone now, if only to play the new Halo game!

Never cared for gears, even considering the third one came out as part of the bundle that I got as a gift. Nice paint job, dumb game.

Never got into Gears either, just struck me as another generic shooter.

Though kudos for the work on Unreal, presumably that means Unreal Tournament too which has turned out to be the framework for generic shooters!

get it right before you ship it. I haven't had the internet at home in 3 years.

Odd, but understandable. I do, but that usually never stops it from acting up in the heat of summer or after severe thunderstorms. Which is why mainly I didn't want to bother with it. If a company expects me to become a slug around its product (in which I trade nothing yet am always on a subscription service, in their ideal customer image), how healthy is that to me?
