I'm not a big fan of 10's. I've had a few 410's and 2 112's and I prefer the 12s with a head. I liked being able too add or remove a cab from the setupSo GK Mb210 will be good? Also i always thougth that pop/punk tone = Ampeg![]()
It is true that watts do not equal volume BUT with the way that many combo amps are, you can use the watt rating as a general guide for what your volume will be, IMO. My reasoning is that many in the 200/300 watt range are single speakers or a 210 setup while the 500's tend to be 410 or 212.
I do agree with Suededoesit about going to a store and trying a few out. Maybe put a mb200 head on the 410 then try out the GK 212 combo and see which you like better and which seems louder to you. In the end your own opinion is the only one that will matter.
