My pedalboard :

That's the best board I've seen for a while, nice one! I like the front switches and countersunk pedals, great ideas there. Don't see many Eventide pedals around here either.

We should ask the lawyer what constitutes "afternoon"....I'm sure he could bring in a variety of witnesses to convince us that it means sometime next week.

:D

"Afternoon" is a term that is fairly well understood by the general public. The exact beginning of an afternoon is without question: it begins precisely after the clock strikes noon. The exact end is debatable, but we can all agree that if the sun has already set, it must no longer be the afternoon.

I invite you to revisit my prior statement:

But really, I'll post this afternoon.

What you should be asking about instead is what "this" refers to, and what I actually intend to "post". :D

Are you really?

Yep. Santa Clara University. :)

The Devil is in the details ...

Since you quoted your own original post and, thus affirmed it as your position, your argument is flawed.

If we are to focus on the entity "this", you should say, "I'll post this after noon". This is a statement of intent to perform an act within a prescribed time-frame involving a specific object ... "this".

You said, "I'll post this afternoon". This is merely a statement of intent to perform an act within a prescribed time-frame.

But, I'm no lawyer ... :D

Edit: Funny, I thought Boo's quoted statements would display ...
