so.... asked in the VTD Preorder Thread too, but could anybody with a VTD try fuzz on -> octaver on -> VTD to see if there's a gigantor volume jump when the octaver is turned on? i just tried that setup with a PBDI at the end and there was no problem.

i'm wondering if there is something wrong with my VTD. which, after waiting like 6 months after paying for it to shoe up, would SUCK.

lol... that's funny you should ask. i've always liked fuzz then octo. but i'm having a weird problem i never had before right now.

but if i have a fuzz on before the octo, and turn on the octo there's a HUGE volume jump. i tried putting a Swollen Pickle in front of the Aggy Octo and tried swapping the Aggy for the MXR BOD. same problem.

any thoughts?

I'm the same way, it really thickens up the fuzz.

Lower the clean and dirty volumes on the Aggy?

the thing is, even if i have EVERYTHING turned down, it's still a huge spike, so i don't think that would work.

and if it did work, i'd have to redo the settings when i run the octaver with no fuzz.

i didn't have this problem before when i was running just the PBDI instead of the VTD or the VT then the PBDI.

very confused.

Huh. I do not know then, sir. I never had that issue.

lol.... like hidden as in "In Shame"? or just scooted over to make room for the new pretties?

got some good stuff there.

that's the M-Audio expression pedal right? i get afraid that that thing would squish under my massive Man Feets. you worried about durability?

nice!

I know the feeling... these guys (and occasional girl) have a way of giving GAS. Nice looking setup. In a year look back on that photo and it will shock you how much you grow/change your pedal farm.

And THEN I got into the effects forums (and found there're hundreds more like me!)...and thousands of dollars worth of trading later..
Pitchfactor, Supercollider, Turbo Tuner (but two more fuzzes on the way!!)

+1, a valiant start young Jedi! From what I've heard, those M9's are pretty sweet. Not bad for just one month!

Be careful though... hang around TB long and you'll be like me. Not too long ago, I sold 15 pedals and am still left with 25 or so, before my SFT got here I've already been in contact with John Fromel about a custom built overdrive, and G.A.S. for a minimum of 7 more at the moment! I'm also in the process of designing/building a new board (see thread in my sig) and just last night, I actually had a crazy idea... Surprise, I'm building new board #2 out of an old Mac G4 shell (yes, a computer case!). lol

I do recognize my addiction, but "Pedal-holics Anonymous" is for QUITTERS! :D lol

5sg.

Its mostly scooted over becuase it really has no use anymore but its so borked (yes borked is broken but in a new tense I just made up) that I dont think anyone would buy it. Also, the M-audio does seem a little cheapish but I think thats just because its plastic and not metal. Im actually not to worried about it though because i dont forsee myself using it a TON, more just for the occasional tweak and/or volume adjustment.

P.S. Glad you guys understand my pedal addiction, although with the M9 and by drained bank account I think i'm gonna have to settle into this setup for a little while. I mean, I have yet to find something that the M9 CANT do at least reasonably well. Hey....I even got an awesome beatsynched dubstep wobble out of it last night!

woof. i DO like your Mutron. gimme.

yeah! the Freeze is NEAT.

i have a part in a song that's me strumming chords, and the Freeze makes it sound MUCH much better.

good stuff homie.

No. My Mutron. not yours. :bassist:

Yeah, the freeze is great. I can see how I can use it for some spacey ambient stuff in my band. Can't wait to use it at a gig I have Sunday!
