progressive rock recordings / bands

I first became aware of the band Triumvirat one night in the late 1970s when WNEW-FM (this was back before they had transitioned from a forward-thinking AOR station to a C&W station) played one of their tunes, and teenage me must have liked it because I made a mental note to check out more of their music

...and >45 years later, I just remembered I'd never bothered to follow up! So I did a quick search on youtube, and this was the first hit that came up:

It's not terrible. They aren't breaking any new ground (even for 1978) but at least they're not a total clone of ELP.

Nor is the song title much in the way of ground-breaking. :D

Fayrewether was a local band back in the last century that I saw many times. The drummer was one of many that Rare Blends had (8 or 9, something like that in 11 years).

Even a lot of Genesis' 80's Phil Collins stuff which everyone considers sellout pop has some nifty prog sprinkled in at times (the keyboard bridge in Invisible Touch for instance).

I think Duke is a good album. Maybe their last really good one. The longer songs on the 80s/90s albums still had some prog elements. But it was 85% pop
