I don't know if this is mentioned already, but Beard members say that Gentle Giant was an influence to them. So if you want to go back the family tree or something like that, def give them a try. First 6 or 7 records are really great in my opinion.I progressed to bands like Spock's Beard, and the offshoots

Try some Yezda Urfa...a late 70s band from Chicago that obviously listened to a lot of Yes and Gentle Giant...I like to put a lot of music on a thumb drive to listen to in my car. I have a good variety of music. I am looking to find more progressive rock recordings that I can rip to mp3 / wma format.
