Punk song recommendations

OP, you'll definitely be wanting a terrycloth tennis wrist band.
And a copy of Mad magazine.

No self-respecting punk was ever caught dead without either!

Well can't deny the bass playing is pretty stellar, for that style of music.
You don’t run into many people who seek out Germs. Even when Darby was alive they were underground even by punk standards. So I am awarding you 15 cool points of no intrinsic value, enjoy!

Descendents as a whole had fun bass lines. The Clash for the most part had great bass lines. Redd Kross. Black Flag depends on the lineup. Minor Threat. Bad Brains. Boy you’re making me feel old.

Lorna Doom learned bass to be in Germs. Total DIY. She was cool.
Since this is TB and pics or it didn’t happen, Darby and Lorna occupy a space in my heart and on my wall.

You frame the sleeves? What do you do with the records? It's an interesting idea, but my record sleeves sleeve my records. Hmm. I should look into some generic sleeves.
What pressing is that minor threat comp? If its from 83-84 it could be worth a chunk of change.

You made me look. 1984 pressing. And it is cherry. I may be old but I didn’t used to be. Here’s the inside:

I played in a hardcore punk band from 2010- 2012 so I could go all day with punk songs. Punk is such a vast genre of music with so many variations like oi!, 1970s UK politi-punk, 1970s US style punk like MC5, crust, d-beat, grind, thrash crossover, and a whole slew of others I'm forgetting. I loved that it was more-or-less no boundaries and in my band we basically just played whatever the eff we wanted.

Anyway, along with our originals, we covered 53rd and 3rd by The Ramones, Breaking the Law by Judas Priest (this cover ALWAYS went over well; punks loved it, metalheads loved it), State Violence State Control by Discharge, Riot Squad by Cock Sparrer, FOAD by Broken Bones...

One of my favorite covers we did was "New Age" by Blitz. The bass line in that one is super tasty.

And in case you're curious, here's an early mix of one of our songs:
(Of all the bands I've played in, this was my favorite. I felt like being in that band gave me a voice and it was the first time I ever felt like I had one. I ended up writing half the band's songs. Being in that band was simply wonderful).
