Got the dog an electric collar today to train him, but had to test it on myself first.

Not a pun or a followup joke about a pun, but that reminds of a situation a former co-worker told me ...
Their dog used to love to go for car rides, but one day they were wondering why their dog started howling and yelping when they pulled out of the driveway. So they took him back home to see if something was wrong. They couldn't find anything wrong so they tried going out again and the same thing happened. Then they realized they had just installed an electric fence and they didn't disable the fence or the collar. Poor dog ....
So sad. I would think the the owner would have some ap that told him whenever the dog was across the fence. I dunno. I would be surprised if the dog didn't get a phobia about the car.
This was about 20 years ago, so I don't know if there would have been an app at that point.
