Love it, that is great looking! Nice PU positions for fretless too. I think that will be very nice "if you can handle it" :D :D :D . That is the coolest thing I have seen in a few months.

+1 on the pickup position (similar to the Zon Special or whatever that wonderful sounding fretless model is). I like the 'mwaw' you get with that tight and toward the bridge spacing of J style pickups.

I'm also a huge fan of bolt-on single cut designs.... all the positives of the single cut (more body mass while still keeping the body size compact) and none of the negatives (anchoring the top of the neck while letting the bottom of the neck move, etc.). Cool!

Passive! That's what I am talking about!

Great looking bass Mike. Can't recall if I've ever heard you on a fretless though...

I had a F Bass BNF 5 and Thumb NT 5 & 6 fretless basses.
For a year or two all I played was fretless.

Looking forward to getting it.
Not looking forward to having to maybe let it go though.
All things being equal, I would rather keep my BSX than have this. But in the event I have to move it, this is/will be easier than trying to sell a 5 string electric upright.

Plus, I get to play a fretless again for a while (even though it has fret lines:spit: )

Hey Lamarjones, hit me if you have something interesting/or think you may have.

Really?!?!?!

Wonder who and what happened?
I commisioned this beautiful bass exactly to my specs, but the 34" scale, (Ray convince me about it, he even talked me about 33"...) and now you will be the truly original owner, all because my 35" scale obsession. I like everything about this bass!!, but after some playing seconds I made a long scale Rbass reorder. :hyper: Now I'm in the waiting time again and you are a very Lucky guy!
