REDDI Tube DI Mega-thread-III

No hate man just intense love for this DI. It really is that good and most people who've used one for any significant amount of time feel like full price is a very good deal. I know the $150-$200 you'll save waiting for a used one might be a significant issue when you're not rolling in $$$ but don't expect to find one for much less than that. Even with the new box coming out my gut feeling is the original is what's going to be the go to classic 20, 30, 50 years from now.

Been using the REDDI pretty often these days. Never pulled the trigger on a bag or the case. Using the original box, before I do...

Wondering if anyone has had luck mounting it on a pedal train board (or similar) across the top with enough room for a few pedals along the bottom? The challenge seems to be the height of the bag not the board itself.

BTW looks like the two channel rack is almost ready to ship out....

I used INDUSTRIAL Velcro to hold it in my rack. The rack went in equipment trucks for weeks and weeks, The velcro held it perfectly. I had toPRY it out of the rack when i got home.
I have a Pedaltrain Mini.. It WONT fit on that with my other pedals. By itself YES it will... I think if i had the PT Jr.,it would fit across the top.. BUT it may not fit in the PT gig bag..
I was using my Alleva Coppolo, Genz Benz Uber 115, Fender TB1200 and REDDI

I will know tomorrow if that is not to late for you.. Ill try it when i get to my gear

Thanks Kirk. The amp less gig is new to me but I want one thing wired up and ready to go. Will make things easier.

I know the Reddi will fit on a pedal train mini or a bigger one to add pedals. The issue is getting the cover to zip over it.

I've heard here splitting the REDDI output between FOH & amp takes away some of the goodness. Has anyone here done a split on xlr output between FOH & a monitor mix? Does that cause any impedance/loading issues on signal? It would be nice to have control of bass level in my ears of sweet reddiness.
