Believe it or not, I've seen an SVT on a ship. Oasis of the Seas has a Cl and 410hlf. But this ship has only a couple Gk rigs and it's hard to get and costs when you can, so we brought all our own backline and monitors. Freedom of the Seas...nice ship otherwise.

I'm sure if this thread continues there will be more people on both sides of the fence choosing what they thought sounded better. But...when you say agree with many I think I saw only two folks put their votes on the REDDI.

I'm gonna try today and post some more clips! Like I mentioned before the Radial JDI in speaker mode tapping off an SVT and the DI off of a Arkham Zephyr.
Also I'm gonna post two more new clips with the REDDI and P-15

It is interesting to listen to your clips and mix this in as well.



The Reddi seems to have more of the 64 bias and the P15 the 66, at least how Garth presented them in this video. That being said two nice pieces of gear, I'm glad to own one of them. If it was practical to lug around a new B15 all the time I certainly would...

Here are the front panel in/out jacks:

XLR out - Balanced post effect
Line out 1/4" - Unbalanced out line level
Input 1/4" - input to the preamp
Thru 1/4" - wired in parallel to input. Useful for sending your unaffected signal to a bass amp

Another vote for the REDDI. The P15 is nice if that's what your after. Even set at noon, too smiley for my tastes. And yes I do check my channel strip after the gig, and darn near flat with the REDDI and onboard tone control of my bass. It may not be for everyone, but it works for me and is consistent 100% of the time. Thanks for putting the clips together.

It's funny, this amp sounds fabulous in both settings, yet when I owned a 64' B15, I hated it. I dumped it for $500, and truthfully, I would have taken much less.

IMO the bass player should not adjust the "EQ" affected signal that goes exclusively XLR to FOH cause he can't listen FOH while on stage.
The FOH guy can't adjust at DI the "affected" XLR signal while he stands at FOH place mixing console.

Sorry, I was referring to the REDDI thread that started to turn ugly when it became a competition with the B-15 (which also sounds great).

No problem. I've got some new clips I'm hoping I can upload tomorrow before lunch that are very interesting.
