It would make a huge difference if it had the additional drivers added like we saw in a earlier Acoustic cab mod thread.

i think he's using them because they look cool onstage and remind him of his heroes.

they probably have as much impact on his live tone as geddy's washing machines :rolleyes:

Yep. Not to be confused by 'acoustic' stuff at GC. These are USA Made, and the cabs are built about 30 mins from me, by my guitar player :) I saw all the FLEA cabinets get boxed up the night before they shipped. Beautiful stuff and loud as hell. The guy from 38 Special also got one or 2 I believe.

Flea can do what he wants. I'm just glad that he has a pair of underpants on in this pic.

I'm impressed with how he enables young musicians with his music school, teaching, and line of affordable basses. Gee, I wonder if some of the stuff that he endorses winds up in the hands of his students.

it doesn't matter.. it's not like i'm going to afford a 360-361 rig @ 5K.. it wasn't as if i could afford a GK 2001 rig, either.. lol..

it will be interesting, if the Acoustic drastically changes how Flea sounds.. or, if there's little change in his overall tone from the GK rig..

the cost is just too high.. there is so much you could do with 5K, other than get one of these..

lol.. the chinese/vietnamese version will be around 3K.. ;)

Alright, move along....nothing to see here.......
A ten month old thread..........if you look to the left of your screen you're likely to see the aforementioned Mr. Flea in an advertisement happily endorsing GK and holding what looks like a '62 Fender Jazz.
Now, back to what you were doing...........;)
