Restoring a 70's 810

Got the whole cab stained this weekend. I also had a chance to set up a work-space in our detached garage for urethane application. Just gotta get someone to help me carry the cab out there.
Any suggestions on whether I should clear the entire cab with each coat or if I can tape and apply all of my coats to a side, flip it and do the same for the subsequent sides.

Can you tilt and move with that cover on?
I'd just do one or two sides at a time. Light coats. I don't usually tape anymore. I'm just super attentive to the edges for drips/runs.

Yes the Lecover's are made to the dimensions of the cab so the back is cut shorter, which allows it to tilt back appropriately.
1 more coat and the bottom will be done. - Photos to follow...
Got my fliptops order on the way, so once I get that I can put on my feet and skate trucks on which should make moving the cab around my impromptu paint booth much easier.
That putty was definitely a little weird. I applied 1 coat of urethane and sanded it at 220 as indicated. Then, I filled a couple of med-large holes. After the second coat of urethane didn't seem to cover the putty which remained soft & pliable. The third coat seems to have covered the putty but it still doesn't seem to be an exceptionally stable surface. The color looks pretty good, I'm interested to see how it finishes with 1 more sand and an additional coat of urethane. I'm hoping that the additional urethane hardens up the top coat a bit.

Unfortunately I've been a bit lazzed 
Despite ordering 5 feet of grillcloth, I received 5 knobs... They said the grillcloth will be in the mail tomorrow and they'll cover me to ship the knobs back.
Good thing I'm not ready to re-stretch the grill.... Yet.

Ok, Got my wheels on, but I discovered one is upside down... So I should be able to flip that over my Lunch break. I also got my skid rails shortened and angled... I've also received my Grill Cloth from fliptops..
So my remaining punch list looks like this:
- get the wheels straightened out
- Clear the back of the cab
- Install my Skid Rails, Jack Plate, & kick Plate
- Clear the sides
- Reinstall my speakers
- restretch the grill...

Have you had a chance to measure the internal volume of one of the compartments? Great work by way. It's looking great. Makes you wonder why the y would want cover all of them in tolex in the first place.

I was just thinking of you today. I had to pull the cardboard loose on the front to get my trucks on... As soon as I remember to bring a tape measure out to my garage I'll post / PM you the measurements.

I hope.I'm not.bothering you too much. I'm sitting around twiddling my thumbs, had my gallbladder removed yesterday. I'm thinking of building a modular 810 (4 210's). No need re inventing the wheel, right? Thinking I could get a start by on paper while I'm down.
