Welp. That's a bummer. They need to be a little more forthcoming, particularly to those who have orders placed.
Couldnt agree more. Been frustrating at best
Got confirmation from Sunn via email that the new Beta foot switches will be compatible with the original amps and that they will be selling them separately later this year.
Hopefully they'll sell the knobs too. There are probably thousands missing lol
One has to wonder why they are not using a new Sunn speaker cab.
They're made in a different factory in a different state so they might not have one there
They should use a standard Marshall cab, so people know what the *amp* sounds like.
Otherwise it’s a bit like bass pedal demos with dudes using an obscure bass / pickup config & active preamp virtually nobody will ever see or hear in person, and an elaborate signal chain… effectively useless.

BTW - beta leads have always been a good SS guitar amp. So if the new ones are like the old sound wise then goid!
Sounds very 70s, like the beginning of "Barracuda" or some of the old 70s Peavey heads the doom guys use nowadays.
