reverend P pickups -- $18!

"Just saw on the Reverend site that the pickups are down to $12!"

I just ordered three pairs and yes, it's $12 for a 'set'. I asked them about four times to make sure that $12 each actually meant for the 2 halves.

They only have the 7.3K and 8.7K I ordered the 8.7's because I want a fatter bottom.

Regards,

Mike

I have a 72 P I like lots...I also have a Reverend 10k ohm pup sitting here. But if ain't aint bigger and hotter than what's in the P already, I'll just save it for science further on down the road...anyone know what a 72 P oughta be rated at?

I found this thread a few months ago and ordered some of these 8.7's. I never did give a proper thank you to everyone for the info and tips, I'm very pleased (though I'll bet that anything is better than the stock MIM this P came with). Anyway, if you haven't picked up some - do it! Or better yet, don't, and there will be some left for me to get some extras :).

after reading this thread and other reviews i decided to buy an 8.7 p replacement to put in my bullet bass (yes, i know it will require some pickguard cutting and maybe routing a bit since the bullet has a slightly smaller pickup)

just letting you all know...i wanted to order two - and couldn't since i got the very last one!

I got the fourth to last one a couple a weeks ago! :hyper:

Okay, which resistance tone and volume pots work well with the 8.7 p version? I'm going to assemble a new pickguard/wiring to swap out. Standard Fender 250's best or would 500's work better? If so, in what way would you say the are better?
