Congrats on the acquisition...! It looks great - very curious to hear what you think about the "headless" tuner system, which is similar to the way my Platinum is made - though mounted on the front. Do you know why this bass has that system?

Honestly, I don't know. My best guess is that PJ, the original owner, didn't want the tuner system sticking out of the back. He puts the basses in some different positions while playing on stage, so I guess that it would hit him or something....
I'll see if I can get that info from Jens or PJ, they will know it for sure.

There's a very small chance I will sell Invalid Link Removed next year. I should have my custom Ritter by then. 3 Ritters is a bit much. But I'm not sure yet. I like the bass a lot. It's my favorite of the two, but can't use it that much in my current bands. I play the Cora almost every gig.

I don't know why I keep reading about complaints with the neck shape, it is effortless to play and feels like butter. Sounds like excuses to me ... (jokes)

I will put up some photo's when I find what we did with our camera

Strange...
Everyone that played one of my Ritter basses was just in awe of the necks. Just today one of my students told me that everything he tried on the Cora just works so effortlessly.

not that I'm trying to be lazy and obviously this is a very subjective question but is anyone playing through a rh450 that has some recommended settings. I've just been running flat settings on the amp and dialing in the tone on the bass , so I'm curious.

Okay, some news. First of, the negotiation I was doing for Ritter 0732 didn't work out...
But I just bought a brand new Cora 5 String, serial 1106. Got it yesterday. VERY beautiful, the Carrara white is quite something (it has the classic Cora features, Carrara White, maple fingerboard/pickups and golden hardware). If you can update the list, it would be awesome. And a cool feature, the bass has the same birthday date as me, only 24 years younger! Big coincidence!

And, I sold my Okon 0838... You can take that of my list...

I can't blame you for getting a Cora, but what was the reason for letting #838 go? Seeing that my new bass - which is basically finished - shares a lot of the features, I'm curious.

I received a amazingly good offer on the bass, and I couldn't let it pass. Basically, for the price I sold it, I payed for the Cora AND I can order a new one just like the Okon I sold.
Pretty good deal, isn't it?

Trust me, you will absolutely love your bass. I'm now considering what will the next one be... I'm thinking something special, as I now have to "normal" Ritters. Pehraps a Royal Fretless like yours???

And how is your new bass coming along?? Almost ready?

Ah, if you got that kind of money for the bass, I would probably also have sold it...! I wonder why the buyer didn't just order a new one from Jens?

Did you get the Cora from Jens? I'm guessing with that serial it must be brand new.

My bass is finished, but Jens is changing the design of the OPA-drive to make it smaller before installing it in the bass, so that's what we're waiting for now

Very nice to see one of the 10th Anniversary Royas here...! Congrats on getting a killer looking bass - the tops on those basses are trademark Ritter craftmanship to me.

The Redwood top is spectacular (as most every Ritter) - also impressive is the one-piece flamed maple body underneath...

My wife first saw one of Jen's 10 anniversary basses @ Rudy's in NYC - she called it the most beautiful guitar she'd ever seen (a little out of her price range, but she did bring me home an amazing Pedulla Thunderbass ETAAA). I later bought my Roya locally.
