I’ve seen these the last couple of times I was in the shop but was sworn to secrecy. Glad the word is out now. They are very cool and feel great in the hand!

Wow, I'm so unobservant. I didn't even notice those were singlecuts until I went back and took a second look.

Everyone has their own tastes, but for me it's rare to see a singlecut bass that I like the look of. Hopefully Kyle can refine the design until it's great -- at least for those who are into it.

Yeah. I’m not a fan of single cut basses but I think it’s a great idea for Roscoe to offer one. And it honestly looks as good as most (actually better because of the beautiful Roscoe headstock). :)

Brought one of my Fenders along as a “just in case this new Roscoe doesn’t do it for me” tonight.

It never came out of its case. Roscoe>Berg Super Pre=amazing tone.

Playing to over 600 ladies was icing on the cake.

I’m still curious about the Berg. If I decide the Stomp isn’t for me I may still give the berg a try. The Genzler pedals are interesting as well.

Ok everyone, if you have flats on your active 5 string, what are you using? I love the TI’s on my Classic P. Love the fundamental and attack. Debating trying flats on my Century 5. Not sure if I go with the known TI’s or something else.

Ernie Ball cobalt flats
Do the EB Cobalts have the same tension as TIs?

Setting up some fiddles yesterday, using my Classic as a sample. Not all instruments can be set this good unless it’s plek’d or very well leveled. Its factory at the nut about 1x64th or 0.4 mm. This is about as low as you can get. Very straight neck set with a straight edge and backed out a hair of relief. Maybe 0.01 +/- and string height at the 12th fret about 4 x 64ths on the E&A and 3 x64ths on the D&G. +/- but let’s just say low and even from 1st fret to last.

A bit more, but not a lot.
I have TIJF on my fretless, EBCF on the fretted.

I think the EB Cobalt flats have a lot more tension than the TI’s. They feel some where between conventional rounds and La Bella DT flats. But that can vary based on the gauge you purchase. Not sure about my TI’s but my Covalt flats are 45-105 (45-130 5 string).
