Roscoe Club

So, I'm just going to leave this here. In the immortal words of Richard Dreyfuss, "This means something."

My two Roscoes were stolen...by my wife. She is in the process of divorcing me. She took them this week and says she's going to sell one of them. If you come across any of them on the Net or otherwise, please let me know. They are:
  • s/n 5959 (SKB Custom; Maple top, Swamp Ash body, Bart pre and Roscoe/Bart pickups; standard M-PH-M neck; Pau ferro fb; standard inlay; black hardware)
  • s/n 6392 (Century Custom, Maple top; Mahogany body; spalted purpleheart fb w/matching/contrasting wood inlay; Aggie pre; 3 x J pickup configuration; standard neck; gold/black hardware)
My avatar includes both these Roscoes pictured: far right is 5959; middle bass is 6392.

Thanks for your help. Stefan 757-449-0027.

Chrrrrrrist, this is a big reason why I have yet to care about getting hitched. Sorry to hear about this, man. Get her thrown in jail, collect the compensation, reclaim your REAL girls, and/or order some new beasts from Keith!

Well, I managed to get my finances in order, and had to come back to this one. Hopefully I'll have it next week! Btw, the used SKB Custom that I last got (if any of you saw my post) didn't work out, as I didn't like the Audere pre, because I'm a Bart guy. Anyway, here's to hoping this one kills!

Well, the neck was messed up, too. It buzzed like crazy all over the G and D strings, with a truss that felt like it was maxxed...I didn't feel good about it. My Standard Plus, though, has really low action, dead-flat neck, and plays pretty much like butter.

Thank God for return policies!

Got them back yesterday. Made a deal w/her. Some money in coming-in as a reimbursement to us for medical expenses paid (almost $3000); told her she can have all of it if I can have my basses back. So that's how it happened. It's a mess, but I got my two Roscoes back and the fight continues to regain my family! But that's a different story....

Glad the basses are back, but geez man...careful with the deal-making. It is my sincere hope for you that you are able to find a good lawyer who will take care of all this stuff. Trust me - speaking from experience with having a terrible lawyer first and then a better one second. Anyway, I honestly wish you the best, it is a tough road, but there is hope and lots of potential for a good outcome at the end. Take care!
