Hey y’all, I figured this would be the place to ask this question. I’m looking at possibly getting a Roscoe six string, and I’m trying to get some details on the instrument.

Does anyone know if the Roscoe website has a section that shows all previous basses sold? Or if there’s another site that might list them? I haven’t had any luck on the Roscoe site so far.

I haven't seen anywhere you can see all previous basses sold, it is not on Roscoe's site. Greg at Rocket Music has a very good archive of what he has sold. Invalid Link Removed

What would you like to know about them? They are the easiest playing 6 string made. If I needed the C string I’d still have mine. Of the 3 I’ve had made, and the 8 I’ve owned, that was the nicest Roscoe I’ve owned.

I played this Roscoe LG in service today. We played a song in Ab to backup the Pastor’s sermon and it was causing the stained glass windows to rattle walking up from that low C!

Oh, and the rig was my Genzler MG800 through Avatar 2x10 & Genzler BA12-3 stack.

I am so glad to finally have another LG-3005 after selling my prior one years ago. It is sooooo easy to play, sounds so good, and just makes me want to pick it up and have fun every day ... Can't wait to start gigging with it in a couple months!

So glad my wife kept me from doing something stupid. I gigged my Roscoe again last night. So awesome. Easy to play, sounds great, looks great.

I'm not downing fender as I've drove out of my way hours several hours many times trying to bond and like the Elite's and Deluxe series models. I wouldn't take 2 fenders for 1 Roscoe. I know that's blasphemy to many on here but that's my experiences of them lol.

You don’t sell a Roscoe to get a Fender. You keep the Roscoe AND get the Fender.

I've got two Fenders and two Roscoes!
Actually traded one of my Roscoes to Joe for a mint-condition 2017 Fender + little scratch.
I'd like to check out a Custom Classic 5 at some point, only played a 4-string model so far and it was great. For Fender-style basses I tend to prefer the genuine article, especially since 2008. They've really stepped up their game.

I’d never sell my Roscoe. I may add a passive 4 string P with flats someday. I have a cheap G&L JB-2 that’s a pretty nice passive jazz. Could use better pickups but I may try to work it in.

There are many tunes the cover band does that would sound great with a passive jazzz or P type bass. Problem is I don’t have time to switch as we like to keep the set rolling. Hence the Roscoe 5 as it does it all.

I love my my Precisions, when I want to get my old-school soul and Motown groove on, my '57 clone with La Bella flats is killer. So having that AND my Roscoe means I am in high cotton ...

I’ve owned and played a lot of Roscoes and all have been very good. This bass however, is easily the best one I’ve owned. The plek Keith did and the Aggie electronic combo is perfection in a full band mix. Must be a combination of the Wenge Sapwood fretboard, Ash body and Cocobolo top that makes it growl like it’s mad lol. Has had a lot of playing time but still looks brand new.
