Roscoe Club

My wife jokingly gave me the go ahead for the P at Rocket. Not sure. It’s a 1.75” nut. Most other P’s I’ve played and liked are 1.65” nuts, like the Fender Select at the local shop. Not gonna lie, quarter sawn graphite neck, compound radius, quilt top. Pretty nice bass. I also just spent over $2K on a ring for her for our anniversary so I’m not exactly drowning in disposable income., and I only pay cash any more. We’ve eliminated debt and I want to keep it that way.
Did she say this before or after you gave her the ring? ;)

In the cruelty of the non-Roscoe world, diamonds are a girl's best friend, explaining why dogs are a man's best friend.

In the Roscoe world, diamondwood (or any other Roscoe artistic element) is man's best friend (along with dogs).

So true Fritz. And like diamonds (to a woman), a Roscoehead can never have too many!

LOL
I was aware of this little detail.
Act fast Steve! It only takes one little "uh-oh" to wipe out an "at a boy"!:jawdrop:
I'm still unsure about the wider nut. As someone said, I suppose it's the same width as my 5 strings, but it's only 4. I'm sure I'd get used to it. Different feel inspires different playing, right. The whole reason to have different basses?

A few Centuries that have been listed on Reverb for awhile got some price reductions. No affiliation.

Oh well. She has 7 more fingers for another ring! IJS. Think of it as a savings/holding account until you decide to buy a bass. :)
Actually, there are only 5 left. Engagement/wedding ring on 1, a custom made “mother’s ring with each kids birthstone (diamond and ruby) by local jeweler on a 2nd, and now this one on a 3rd.

She also has a nice pearl necklace. She's lacking a pair of diamond stud earrings. That may have to be next.
