That's a good looking set of roscoes. I'm hoping to have the same collection some day. Two fretted( one with birds eye maple board) and a fretless.

Time for me to (re)join the Roscoe fan group.

Over 2 years since I acquired my LG3000 (below) from Atlanta Bass Gallery: Original post in Roscoe forum. That's an ebony sapwood top, and ebony fretboard. So sweet!

Briefly went back to playing Fender Jazz basses, including a very temporary interlude of self-doubt and "I'm not worthy" of Roscoe… Some intensified shedding and instruction from a master killed that useless emotion.

Second photo is with two of my buds. We've played together for about 10 years now. They also prefer that I use the Roscoe.

The SKB is a wonderful example of Roscoe quality. A special maple (quilted with water drops) top and a unique Spanish Cedar body and back.

It gets way too little play time, only because of the two great Fivers shown beside it.

Yes indeed. Not a lot that strikes my fancy at the moment. I'd be especially interested in a century signature 5 or lg3005.

Did you do a search. I think the 'sister' Century Sig 5 to mine is still for sale. Great seller. Mine was literally 'as new' at about 60 cents on the dollar.

Ah. mea culpa. He must have pulled it. It was for sale FOREVER. Amazing bass.. probably 50 cents on the dollar. I guess he pulled it. Bummer.

Just keep watching. For some reason, there are usually a bunch of these in the classified at almost all times. I agree, a bit thin now compared to last month. Give it time.

I got a great price on a century standard 5 in great condition. What great ergonomics. and only 8+ pounds with no neck dive. How do they do that?

Helium inlays (they are invisible so you can't see them; don't even try)

None of my 'usual suspects' inhex wrenches seemed to fit.
Rather than keep digging through my small tools drawer, I thought I'd just ask people who will know... I know what it's not ;-)

I use a 9/16" wrench I bought from home depot. You'll need one that has a short "L" shape, otherwise the wrench may not fit.
