A bass in an aquarium?
Just out of curiosity, are't Ski boats and Bass boats two different types of boats?
They both float. So they must be fairly similar.
I found out something today that surprised me. A Roscoe Century bass fits really well in a Fender Elite bass case. I was quite surprised. I thought the upper horn was much longer than a Jazz or P-bass upper horn.
It's a little loose around the body but not bad. I was also surprised that a 35" scale bass wasn't to long for the case.

I wonder if that's just coincidence or a planned outcome.

My MM Stingray HH 5 fits in it too.
Maybe bass designers stay within certain body sizes.

That's what I'm thinking, to some degree anyways.
My setup for tonight and it sounds glorious. This mod completed this Koa bass and made it sound phenomenal.
That's a sweet rig. That would be a great touring setup with a nice in ear.
Our Travel band has went full IEM and ampless. This Khan Tube DI sounds really good with Roscoes run through it. I've never had better tone.

I actually had my Noble and the Khan and done comparisons. Band and I recorded some with both and the Khan sounded best to all of us. So I sold the Noble lol. Noble is great but for Live use the Khan is better.Awesome result, Shane. Great weekend featuring the Century fretless at mass and Chicago Recording Company. This pic is looking across 2 rooms of the famous Studio 5 at CRC yesterday.

Meanwhile, hilariously, I just stumbled across the post of the original owner selling my current Roscoe, which means that I think I can track the entire owner trail of a guitar that I didn't custom order, which is pretty cool! I love this bass so much, and I'm happy to know its history!

So I've heard a few of you guys state that the Roscoe OHSC for a Century and SKB are the same but my Century PJ will not fit in my older Roscoe OHSC for my 10 year old SKB.
Maybe they changed them since then (10 years ago) and the newer ones do.
Just an observation (as you can see, I'm case focused lately).

I reached out to Keith before I sold my Roscoe case and he said that the SKB and Century cases he uses now are universal. The LG is the only one that is different.
So I guess it's buyer beware of the older SKB cases. Or maybe he just discontinued the SKB case and uses the Century case for the SKB.
I'll ask him the next time that I talk to him (soon I hope because I want Blondie back).
