Yep Mike, that Roscoe of yours is a real looker. But then you seem to have collected a fine harem of stunningly beautiful basses. Definitely a man of taste and class...

This one has endured the test of time! Still a very classy looking fretless. I love the coloring on the diamondwood finger board.
I believe that this one, and my first Roscoe fretless, were in the Roscoe queue when we first chatted on TB (prior to the Roscoe forum days). I believe 2002 ........

Thanks, you bastrich. So far, retirement ain't all it's cracked up to be. Some of my retired friends tell me it takes a year or two to get used to it. I was dreaming about the days when I could hop in the car and go down and cruise the beach. Not happening yet. And by the way, I have met Steve (ubone) at a GTG he set up. Another man of refined taste.

Amazing basses in this thread, Roscoes sure are a thing of beauty. Munji, that thuja top is incredible. Really nice stuff. BTW, I think CB did a bass with a thuja top IIRC....

Thanks Joe. It still is in great shape, considering the mileage it has on it! It just nails the fretless tone!

Did I mention the fact that Mike is also one of the few people I know that probably has more Hawaiian shirts than I do?? The dude abides, has some serious good taste in basses, and needs to spend a month in a palapa, on the beach between Rancho Buena Vista and Rancho Leonero, getting some serious fishing on, snorkeling Punta Pescadero, relaxing, and chasing the brown gals.

Come to think of it, a month down there would be good for all of us..
