**Rugby World Cup 2011**

Excellent!

It was a good run, but our defense shouldn't have been sparse like that, it's why you should have a solid line. Looking forward to this weeks game!

Agreed on the lack of defense....even when we got close to the line at the other end...it all broke down - as usual!!

We had the opportunity to win it.....but as usual snacthed defeat from the jaws of victory......Saturday should be good.....not sure I'm going to see it though....as I will be in darkest Englandshire myself.....off to Alton Towers....maye see it before we leave the rellies house!!!

the try was just a wee bit of spacial genius and he dogded or shook off 4 or 5 players who just couldn't tackle properly....

Well done to Argentina!

So, everything to play for.....England will be a tough game, I doubt we can win, but will support my team to the bitter end, I doubt we can score 4 tries......but I hope I'm wrong about both of my predicitons!!!

'Mon the Scots:hyper:

It was a nice try indeed! I read Lucas (argentine player) said he knew he had Scotland's number 15 infront of him, and he doesn't tackle much, and after that missed tackle he got lucky.

Scotland doesn't need to score 4 tries, if they win, and either have Argentina loose, which I don't think is likely, or win by more than 7 points, they are in. If the 3 teams make a bonus point they'll be all tied with 15 points, and then it's up to maths to see who goes through. If neither gets a bonus point but Argentina and Scotland win then they're all tied in 14, and again it's up to the points.
England was making lots of penalties, so if Scotland takes advantage of that, who knows...

We'll never catch up in terms of points.

Argentina need to loose, draw or win with a bonus point for us to only need to win by 7 :(

Don't know if that's a fair assumption on old Mossy (Paterson, 15), he has made some spectacular try saving tackles! Saw an interview last night where Contempoli admited he was offside but knew the ref wasn't looking :p (as said, can't blame him, tho I will blame the officials still :p )

Oh, you're right, I missed the fact that Argentina need to win with bonus point... Georgians are tough, right?
Fernandez Lobbe is out of the world cup... already 2 of our players left the world cup because of injuries... I guess Argentina will play it safe, and just get what we need to make it through, since we'll already know the outcome of Scotland vs England

I'd assume Argentina would want to do all they could to try and get to the top of the table (if Scotland somehow manage to beat England). Because the difference between 1st and 2nd place in this pool is pretty big. Whoever comes second has to face the All Blacks!

Yes, no doubt. If there's a chance to end first in the group they'll most likely try to make it.

I can't stand the IRB to be honest.

They are out for themselves, not the game.

And they keep f'king with the rules.

Rugby is big, but nowhere near soccer big. So come the RWC, it isn't a big money maker. I will say that the teams should be able to manage it for much less than NZ are making out tho.

Scotland - England away to start. Even though the outcome of the pool has pretty much been decided, this should be an interesting game.

Half Time:

Scotland 9 - England 3

We need a greater lead (2 more points, so another penalty would do it), and to hold that. Or to get 4 tries (ha!). This is a team playing with passion, as always, Scotland - England giving a a good game to watch.

England are going to come out heavy in the second half, but I hope we can keep the lead.
