Ditto, it should be a good game.
Argentina are looking worryingly strong, and we are looking worryingly poor. I'm just hoping that it's because we were playing with jitters and then the second game was so quickly after the first that we didn't recover enough (hence the massive changes to lineup).
Scotland really need to pull out the metal in the next two games. They've made, what should have been 'easy wins', difficult ones.
Can't get away with that when facing up Argentina or England.
But regardless.
Scotland - Argentina is always a belter of a game to watch. Very similar levels of rugby being played, the play styles make for interesting games to watch. (also usually very ugly, painful games to watch).
Scotland - England, England always have the upper hand, but we usually up the game against the auld enemy, so it also tends to be a good game to watch.
As a Scotland supporter, I think this is going to be close (or very, very painful).
Loved the Ire - Aus match, Australia just played flat all the way through, and Ireland are one of those teams that you just cannot get away with playing like that.
Yes, I think Pumas were lucky to have a whole week to recover after the game with England, and now a whole week to recover for Scotland.
I'm hoping we can beat Scotland and then Scotland beats England! And if England keep up their level of penalties - which I think has been way high - and Scotland's kicker has a good day, well, there's higher chances of beating them.
I think both sets of games will be good, maybe not the scoreline, but the games will be entertaining to watch.
If Scotland get through, I'd much rather have them win the pool than come second, second place is likely to be facing the All Blacks in the quarter finals :-\ .
We've had even longer to recover coming into this game, but both teams should be near on full strength, which makes it all the more entertaining. Is Contepomi still in the WC?
One thing Scotland usually has, is amazing kickers, but sadly neither Paterson and Parks seem to be doing well at the moment

I was just reading a newspaper article, saying Contempomi is doing much better, but is not yet confirmed for the match against Scotland. They'll wait a couple more days to see if he's totally recovered... let's hope he makes it in good shape.
On TV they were saying that most teams (except France) had higher percentage of failed kicks compared to the last world cup. Some blame the ball - which is the same used in the 6 Nations with a change in the valve - and yet during practices none of the kickers were failing so much... they said both Wilkinson and Contempomi just before starting the match were practicing in the field and most their kicks were in.
One of the QFs is now almost certainly going to be Aus - SA. That could be interesting!
With the winner of that QF likely playing NZ in the SF's, means it is looking more likely that we'll have a Northern vs Southern Hemi Final

Oh, come on mohawk!! don't you trust your team against England!? I don't think there has been a world cup with so many surprises as this one, regardless of the final match results, many matches have not gone as expected..
Sadly, not when we are fielding the players we are at the moment.

I read one of Scotland's prop is not playing against Argentina because of religious principles (he won't play on sundays). Is this so?
Don't write off the Bokke just yet, I rate them slightly higher that the Wallabies. I'm interested in how the US will play tomorrow. Is their flanker (the one with the long hair) suspended?

He's also kicking up a fuss saying that no rugby matchs should be played on Sundays.
He stopped playing any Sunday games a number of years back (both club and international).
IMO, this is no loss. I don't like him as a prop. He can't hold a scrum up. IMO Geoff Cross is a better man to have in the scrum, he may be slightly lighter and a very slightly shorter, but he has more gusto.
Funnily enough, Geoff Cross is a qualified Doctor, so there'll be a few of them on the pitch if Comtepolli is back!
I think it would be close between them and Aus. But I can't see either (current) lineup beat the All Blacks.

Saw the Aussie vs. USA game. You Americans really know how to party!!
All Blacks need to thrash France if they have a hope in getting to the final, and winning the cup.
