Yep I had SUB fever I bought a black, white SUB 4 then a graphite SUB 5. I still would like a black SUB 5 but decided enough was enough..lol

I just picked up a white SUB 4 to go with my charcoal SUB 5. Its the same white SUB that's been passed around a few times here - I think waterboy owned it for a while... Let's see how long it stays in the stable. I do love the classy white, though.

I was eying that one down but just don't have the spare cash right now. I really prefer the white to my teal.

I picked this one up after it had been hanging in a shop for 5 yrs. The setup was atrocious, which helped me get it for about $ 370 (current exchange rate). A couple of hours in my workshop and she is a beauty. My previous go to bass was a Warwick Rockbass $$.

I did not like the industial aluminium look, so I made a plexi pickguard under which I can put whatever picture I want...:p

I didn't care for it when I 1st started getting into SUBs, but I have to say that nearly every time I play them out, I get positive comments on those alum diamond plate PGs - so, I left 'em on... In fact, I ordered one for my SUB Sterling yesterday, and so that all 3 of my SUBs will have them...

I do think you did a nice job in making your PG, though...

Sure, why not? It's not like a pickguard change is really going to mitigate the visual insult of some of those colors. The pickguard changes I've seen on the wine-vomit purple ones actually made them look even uglier, something I would not have even guessed was hypothetically possible, so I've left mine as-is.

Since the hand accident ended any possibility of playing out again, I don't have to worry about presentation in any case.

Doing nothing is usually the easiest decision anyway. ;)
