S.U.B. Club

Hey fellow SUB club members I need some help.

Any of you know if the pickguard to an SR5 classic would be an exact fit in a sub 5? Or should I just try Ernie ball in the morning?

If anyone here has tried to fit one already and can let me know it would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Roger

Yes! Exact fit.

Unfortunately, had to let one of my SUB's go. Had too many basses, trying to get down to no more, than three. It went to a good home. Sold it to friend,I had known for years. He was looking for one of them,so I let him have it. The white one,I bought from a fellow TBer. I am hanging on to teal,it was made,on my birthday,August 9.

Looking for a USA made Sterling or Stingray SUB. Preferably the Sterling as I need the lighter weight and jazz neck. If anyone has one you are willing to part with please let me know. White or teal / rosewood neck would be perfect.
You're looking for one of the rarest SUBs out there, and I happened to have recently returned one to my local GC.

It's listed on the website as being in that store, but I haven't actually seen it on the wall. It might be there somewhere in the back.

Did it have a neck twist with buzzing issues?

Thanks. Just called on that one. They told me it had a neck twist which gave it a bad buzz that they couldn't fix. Did you find this to be true?
Not at all. The neck was perfect when I had it. It was set up to my preference with super duper low action. It would buzz without a gentle touch. Their tech is a moron. It's entirely possible the neck somehow got twisted since I returned it, but it was fine when I had it. Two of the saddle height adjustment screws were stripped but it was otherwise fine.

It had a basslines pickup rather than the stock one, but it sounded great.

Thanks. I will call back and speak to manager.

Hey sub guys!
So kinda curious about grabbing one of these for my weekly gospel/funk gig since I leave a bass there. Hows everybody like the stock pickups and electronics? Also, how big is the step in quality between these subs and the sterling rays?
Thanks ladies and gents!
