Anyone got tried and true methods for touching up the black headstock finish?

Far from a perfect solution but I used a black Sharpie to fill in some exposed bits.
Took a couple of applications, good enough result except under close scrutiny.
The paint code for the headstock would be very useful!
I tried the Sharpie route but found furniture scratch paint pens/markers were a closer match and more durable.
 
I might eventually strip the back of the neck and the whole headstock, re-do the headstock lettering in black, and clear coat.
Got these by accident - they were supposed to be silver…..
