Can't blame you for wanting an Upton, that's for sure!I was looking to get an ME, but my Upton DB was first up. I'll be in line for one of those MIC ME basses!
You should talk to Fleet Pro sound about becoming anm ME dealer. Was happy when they picked up the Genzler line.
@Bass Viking
Further to that. Dave at club bass did drop a big hint that something was coming that would be of big interest to me (This was just before the Big Warwick announcement). Hopefully he intends to stock some ME's this year. Other than check out the GTA GTG gathering if we meet this spring. Lots of great basses and toys to play with and I bring both of my Sadowskys.
I was at Fleet today and asked if they were going to carry the Sadowsky line. Unfortunately, the answer was no. It has to do with Long & McQuade being a dealership (although I've never seen a Sadowsky at any of the 3 L&Ms in Ottawa) as well as Club Bass. Luckily, I have my Sadowsky Modern to keep me happy!
I guess you have to order a Sadowsky through Long & McQuade, which seems kind of pointless to me. The salesman at Fleet was saying the Genzlers are selling really well.Hmmmm. That blows. Never seen a Sadowsky in an L&M either. I'll check with Dave and see if he is going to stock some ME's. I appreciated how Fleet stocked up with Genzler and the Jeff Genzler personally reached out to Ontario based Genzler fans to let us know about the news.
Posted on Sadowsky Guitars Facebook page today. Interesting, I have mixed thoughts.
For anyone with questions about the new Warwick/Sadowsky lines and prices, Roger put together a note to explain everything in detail: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

It’s strange how I didn’t see this article before, thanks a lot for the translation!
I was changing the strings. Without the strings' tension the nut just... fell off. I guess someone forgot to add glue.![]()
Thanks Roger - that was on a Warwick I had fifteen years ago. It's long gone now. Never had that issue with any of my Sadowskys.Apologies for this oversight. Just a small drop of Elmers wood glue on the bottom of the nut is all you need and let the strings clamp it in place.
