15 grain bread, butter (oh, yes!), peanut butter (smooth or crunchy), cheddar cheese (thinly sliced), honey.

Sometimes a fried egg sandwich on white bread with a mere breezing of mayo and kissed with a teensy bit of mustard hits all the homey spots of youth.
Yeah it's kinda odd. Only a very slight smear. I personally like Gulden's spicy brown now but Frenches yellow was the back in the day go to on it.
Especially with crusty, buttery, ciabatta style bread when you cook the egg to be runny and get into those bread cracks.
Yestiddy I had 2 eggs over easy on sourdough with a few dashes of Tabasco. I only use butter or margarine when the bread is nekkid. If there's a sauce (or in this case, runny yolk) I do it sans butter.
Younger male readers, a pro tip: when she asks, "What are you thinking," never admit it is of a sandwich. Let her imagine you are more complicated.
I could eat sourdough bread all day every day.
As @Gorn said, good sourdough is something special.
How do I get some of that sourdough, short of picking it up in person?

Kurt may be able to ship it, but keep in mind that it won't any longer be fresh like it is when picking it up at the bakery. Plus, Zoss The Swiss Baker is right next to a great jazz club/restaurant, [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. You could go see a concert while in town.

As long as he uses priority mail, it'll get here quick. I know this as I shipped bread from WA to NH frequently when we lived in NH. Three days max.

Shipping bread? I don't know. It'll take at the very least 24 hours and then it'll be 24 hour old bread.
