Sorry I am talking about the gap between the bottom of the neck and bass...it is wider on one side then the other.

That's not uncommon on a lot basses. It allows for the pickguard to slip beneath in some cases, but it isn't a flaw.
3 of my Model T's are very slightly un-level also but, not as un-level as yours. All of mine have the gap at the treble side. My dug Bass doesn't have a pickguard under the fretboard overhang and has a large gap but looks level.
My OCD never caught the un-level neck's because, it's so slight and doesn't effect anything whatsoever.
Huh...ok well I guess it's normal then...I even popped the neck thinking something was stopping the neck from seating flush...no dice... Ok well I'll just keep loving it...it's soo nice The black hardware contrast soo awesome with the aged natural satin...last night I put some lemon oil on the neck and body and the thing started to glow almost lol.

An EMG 707TWX! This is a 7string guitar pickup..the housings on both are the exact same size so It gave me an idea to try it..it's split coil as well....then it's also got the trusty BTC preamp great bass but the neck radius is just to flat for Me so I don't play it much.

Yea they seem to order alot of exclusive runs specially for them,the apocalypse series comes to mind. Alot of there previous custom runs show up in the Schecter vault so they must do alot of business with Schecter.

I acquired this Black Beauty last year, and haven't been able to find out very much about it. I really like it, then again, I really like all of my basses, but this one seems kinda special. From what I have learned, they may have been made in Dallas, or maybe Asia, IDK. Schecter changed hands a few times back then.
I think it was made in the mid '80s, but again, not sure.
It's just shy of 11 pounds, and solid as a rock, fairly chunky neck, push-pull volume pots, and some pretty cool aluminum(?) side dots, that visually stand out very nicely.
Tuners and neck plate are branded with the old Schecter block logo, but no markings on the bridge. It's not plywood, it's a chunk of something, and not very resonant, but heavy sounding, maybe because it's so dang heavy, LOL!
Any info to share would be greatly appreciated

From what I can tell they are a late 70s to late 80s Schecter that was assembled in Japan out of cheaper material as this was the time when Schecter was being ran out of Texas...before the owner of ESP acquired Schecter.
Just an FYI here for all. Just heard back today from one of the Tech’s at Schecter. They are Complying with all the current Laws, Rules, and regulations and will be closed until April 19th. In my case it was concerning getting some replacement parts. I believe someone is monitoring e-mails, etc. So let’s not get all “twisted” if calls are not returned etc. Cut them some slack, everyone is doing the best they can there. AKA a Good Company. Just some info.

fretno on post 1969 was talking about the"S" series. I see your serial # starts with an S. Maybe that's one of them he was refering to. He might know more about it.
I thought Schecter didn't sell any replacement parts. Did they start ???

I saw King's X back in the '90s, and at the end of the show, Doug got on the drums, Jerry picked up Ty's guitar, and Ty played Doug's bass upside down, and they jammed out on a Beatles song!

Plus, I just couldn't bond with it's MM type active PU, so I sold it, and got the dUg above;

One of my 6’ers came with some of the screw heads messed up. The small ones that secure the battery compartment, control area, etc. So I contacted them for some replacements. Was silly to return the entire Bass just for this. Somebody on the assembly line was probably having a bad day. No big deal.

Have the Schecter Stilleto Custom 5,now in possession. Took this in a trade, could offer someone a good deal. Have it for sale,in the classifieds. Nice bass,just never got use to playing 5 string basses. Been practicing with it some,to see how it plays and sounds. I think from the serial number back of head stock,might be 2006? If anyone knows the year let me know. Still has plastic cover on control cover.
