Completely disassembled and cleaned every piece, at first I figured I'd dust off the bridge... then the saddles came out, then the bridge off, damn now the bridge is shiny and the tuners look grubby, hmmm, the pick ups are sitting low, lemme add some foam and reset them... i dug into the wires a bit but stopped when I remembered my solder is broken and I haven't replaced it yet. Then obviously had to redo the intonation and adjust the saddles again. Turned a 10 minute string swap into a couple hours of work.

But boy is she pretty

Nice work! As for adding foam under the pickups, I need to do that as well. What did you use or recommend?
Thanks!!

Well I’ve been really thinking about a schecter and I came across this and decided it was too good to pass up... guitar center describes it as great condition and I can return it and will only lose the cost of shipping. What do you think?

You can't lose. Let us know the outcome. I'm betting that Active 35J EMG in the sweet spot will sound amazing soloed with a good set of strings and a set-up. :bassist::hyper::bassist:

Does anyone here actually like the look of the p and J series headstocks on Schecters? I have to say I know it's completely aesthetic but, it is the weak point in My opinion in the looks department for Schecters with these headstocks, look like a giant beak lol

I don't mind them, they remind me of an old Hamer shape;

What I've never cared for was the Gothic lettering, like they use on road signs in Transylvania ;)

I agree. I just saw the CV with the two humbuckers and all the switches. But the headstock is not that great. I’d prefer a 2x2 or four in a row on something a little less, as you said, beak like.

The electronics got it going on though. Series, parallel, coil split.

Doesn't bother me at all. :bassist::hyper::bassist:

I like them way better than the fender style. Especially when they're color matched

Stealth 4 came in a couple days ago. Such a comfortable bass! Not overly impressed with the electronics so far, but I kinda knew that might be an issue before buying. Looking into replacement options and possibly changing it over to be passive. Stock strings on it for now, but will be throwing some DR Black Beauties on there and tuning to BEAD for some doomy goodness.
