I thought I'd treat my Stealth-5 to a new pickguard - even if it is un-stealthing the stealth I suppose.

*Correction, it's Pickguard Planet, not pickguard heaven. 
It fit like a glove & their turnaround time was pretty fast, about 2-weeks (plus shipping).

Ohhhh my goodness… That video really showcased the tone of the Stargazer. My gosh that is a fantastic sounding bass! Wow! When I first read about the control layout I was intrigued. Now, having heard the tone, I really, really want one. Dang.
Having owned an Apocalypse 5 before, I can say it was a very versatile bass with all the switching options. I would actually forget it was a passive instrument sometimes because of the wide range of tones it could cop. I imagine the Stargazer will be equally as versatile. There's still not much in the way of video reviews yet, but I'm greatly interested in hearing a more in depth tone review. The tone in the clip is great, but I'd love to hear more.
On the Apocalypse, how did you get along with their pickups without shells? I played their CV-5 model at a store and it felt weird anchoring my thumb on the open pickups.... I liked the CV-5 very much though, cool bass!
I own an Apocalypse 5, and must say it felt weird at the beginning. But the wraps are tight and durable. Now I'm used to it. Never had any wear or tear or moisture problems. It's my go to bass for gigging and rehearsel.
Same - wasn't sure if I was digging it at first. It was definitely a different feel than any other typical pickups, but after a couple weeks I really didn't notice at all.
I'm working towards a Corsair myself, but I use Flats, at the very least the closest I'll come to rounds is half-rounds, because I don't appreciate fretwear and a lot of roundwounds will file your frets down if the material is too soft, and I don't care for that considering the cost of fret jobs so I'll stick with Flats.
There are a couple of vids out there and they're definitely playing rounds, but they're not really pushing it, the tone is very controlled.
I'm pretty sure they're coming out of the factory with Rounds on it, so IF you can find one in a shop maybe you can gain appreciation for what it can do with the rounds onboard.... hint, take a fresh 9V with you.

Usually when you buy EMG the pots come with it and the jack & it's all connected with the same connectors that they use on fighter jets so they're not going to shake loose. Now if you got one with a three band EQ I would recommend you get the EMG bqs it's all Plug and Play -- it's a beautiful thing.

I own one. It is an active bass so rounds actually suits it better than flats in my opinion. I am a fan of Nickel Rounds. I usually do have flats or tapes on a Hollow or Semi-Hollow, but right now, I like rounds on it.
I also found a perfect hard case for it as well. They only have gig bags for them. Yorkville YBC-4HJC Jack Casady Bass Case

I saw, I really like that gold though. I saw you’re in central PA, as someone also in PA (closer to the North East) how does the bass seem to handle our climate? Does it need a lot of seasonal changes or not really? My basses are in a room with a humidifier but it’s a fairly cold room in the Winter.
Haven't noticed anything like fret sprout. Haven't had to make any neck adjustments. However, I do like my action a little on the high side as I am a pick player.
Seasonal changes, especially winter to spring at end of April/beginning of May sometimes cause some issues on one or two ABG's, but haven't noticed on this or on any other Hollow/Semi-Hollow.
I hear you though, that humidity change can be a problem.
