Nice Damien Elite-5 there basswave. I've never been a fan of EMG HZ P/U's. If you end up changing them out consider a pair of EMG 40TW's.

OK, firsties...profound apologies for delays in getting numbers issued; the forum changes/upgrades/etc have currenty made it impossible to log in here from my phone, which is where I usually monitor the thread from. If you have requested a number and posted pic(s) of your bass, please resubmit the request and point me at your earlier post w/the pic(s). I'll catch up on it all this week, promise!

I'm normally a J guy but like to play something completely different on occasion. At this point I would like to keep with what Schecter does and go with something that is ceramic in the pickup realm. I was thinking about SD but I will look into these as well.

If your already looking at SD's, check out the blackouts. I put them in my stilleto along with the blackout preamp and I love em. Lots of output and pounding lows

With EMG 40TW p/u's you can run them as humbuckers or single coils, your choice. Each pickup comes with a push/pull volume knob. I like to run my Hellraiser Extreme-5 40TW's set with the neck p/u in humbucker mode and the bridge p/u as single coil.

if looking to stick with ceramic, the EMGCS pickups are a Ceramic/Steel combo. the 35/40/45 HZ pickups are just passive versions of the CS.

overlooked this. as TD mentions, the TW can be split to run HB or SC. the TWs are essentially a slightly different version of the CS. one thing though is the HB mode is series, so switching to SC mode result in a fairly noticeable drop in volume.

I'm in no rush per-say and the pre is on its way...That I will drop in right away and I well see how that sounds in the mix.

Looks like the HZ are ceramic...hmmm...More research is at hand.

Nothing is out the question yet. Another option is Nordstrand Neos...hmmm....

Hey guys, definitely interested in joining Schecter owners club. New to Talk Bass and since I have a Schecter Stiletto Elite 5, I thought it fitting to talk to some guys here that have some experience with Schecter like I do. Here are my entry photos.
