Just bought a new Schecter Riot-5 Session, finished in Aged Natural Satin. Not interested in a club number, just thought I would post that I am impressed with the sound so far. My first bass of this brand, and it is well built.
Managable...of course, a good strap goes a long way. I have a 4" neoprene strap that's pretty comfortable. Not noticeably heavier than my Ibanez SR505.
Just ordered my Session 5 from Sweetwater. They listed it at 8 lbs, 13 oz. That's great for a fiver, hope it's accurate.
They got 3 in stock today. Within 15 minutes after I paid for mine, the other two were also claimed.
My Hellraiser Extreme 5 finally arrived today after 4 mths of waiting. Here's a couple of pics I just took. Weighs in at 9.6 lbs

It sounds great, EMG 40J and 40DC, 3-band, 18v. Neck is arrow straight, action is stupidly low, plays effortlessly. I'll raise it up a tad, to taste. Weighs exactly 8lbs, 13oz, as claimed by Sweetwater. Perfectly balanced.
It's not really "yellow" looking at all. I wish it was. Nice hardware. For a no frills, player oriented bass, it's a solid buy. It needs nothing but a gig bag.

with them using the active EMGs, I would think it would be easy to swap pickups to whatever combo you want, save that of the TW, but that might even be a simple pot swap.
