Schecter Owner's Club, pt 2

Newb player here. I played for a total of about maybe 2 or 3 months a couple years ago, got laid off, had to sell the bass. Finally got around to picking up another this Friday.

Joined the Schecter owners club because I really liked the way this Stiletto Elite-4 felt and sounded (albiet through a nice Markbass at the store), and lets be honest, its a sexy piece of machinery.

:D

No amp/cab at the moment, running through a Tech21 SansAmp Bass Driver DI into my M-Audio FastTrack Pro and then on to my mac.

I was looking at the 2011 Schecter Catalog and on the next to the last page under "Spec Spotlight" it states"combined with the 2-way adjustable truss rod, GRAPHITE REINFORCEMENT RODS are installed in the 8-string guitar and BASS INSTRUMENTS."
the emphasis is mine.

If this is true then IT"S A HUGE DEAL !!!!

I called Schecter and asked if this was only in the custom shop basses and the guy seemed to think it all Basses.

:hyper: I sure hope it for real.

well here he is.

his name is Mortimer, given by the previous owner, my buddy Patrick. after having Mort for a few years, i have a hard time playing 4 strings again.
