Another plus to the story:

I was able to fit two rigs in my car last night thanks to the Schroeder's relatively compact size.

Guitar:
Ampeg V4 in roadcase
Mesa Boogie Roadking 4x12
Gibson Explorer
Fender Telecaster
Pedalboard

Bass:
SKB 8 Space Rotorack with Eden Navigator, Sansamp RBI, QSC PLX3002 & Furman RP8
Schroeder 3101212

I wish I had a camera to show you guys what it looked like.

I cannot wait :hyper: My band [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] will be playing 5 festivals and several other outdoor gigs within the next month!!!!! I am going to put my little Schroeders to the test. When I return, I hope to be adding either a 1210 or a 21012. We will be having some video shot for the Garcia Gathering and for Farmapallooza :hyper:
It is going to be fun! :bassist:

I've heard of your band before from somewhere... Can't remember where though.

I remember liking the stuff!

http://www.mp3.com.au/artist.asp?id=22319 = My band. Only one kinad good recording on there, but bass needs to come out.. I'm going to the studio to mix and master in about 30 mins! (only demo quality though)
Good Stuff! Like the site. All of our stuff is available for free downloads! Check it out again!

smaller to medium sized bar, very loud jam. Had no trouble keeping up with mic'd up guitarist, drums weren't that loud. He got lost. I didn't!!!! I was using my Mike Lull PJ4 passive bass for the first time with the Focus and 410 Schro and it did sound really nice. The acoustics in this room aren't great. I couldn't quite get enough mids (no adjustment on the bass) to suit my fancy. With my active 5 string Lull, I probably coulda played 3/4 the volume and had cleaner, punchier, tone, but I didn't want to readjust my eq totally for a one time jam session.

It was loud clean but not quite as hit ya in the head punchy with this bass as with my otherone where I'm mid boosted farily extensively. The other bassist's rig didn't compare whatsoever.

Had to tell somebody.... just gave my 1210 a good workout with my new Focus. I'm a true Thunderfunk believer, and love the 550 like no other. I actually bought the Focus to primarily use in my rehearsal space with the LDS 3x8 (which is a nice sounding combo). But wow.... as others have pointed out in this monster thread (including Jorg I think), the Focus / 1210 combo is really, really amazing. Those two pieces of gear really work well together. I'm playing a Sadowsky Vintage through the rig, and it really sounds warm, woody and punchy.... and LOUD! Very nice! :hyper:

Dammit, why'd you'd have to say that;)

The TF also sounds wonderful with the 1210... so you are in good shape! :bassist:

I actually don't like the Focus with some of my other cabs, but something about that combo sounds great. The TF sounds great with every cab I've tried it with. :hyper:

Anybody know... If i were to order, say, a 1212 and a 1210, how long it would take for me to get them? Like, are these on backorder, or does he have some ready to go?

Email Jorg for an accurate reply... he's incredibly responsive. It took about 10 days for my 1210... but he's been a little under the weather lately, and he's gotten very popular at the moment :bassist: ... so my guess is a little bit longer. I think it's worth the wait.

I ordered a 1210 Monday, fedex tracking shows it's due here in the morning tomorrow.
I look forward to going to work with the bad little mutha Friday night!
I don't know what all he has in stock, but I do know he's a dang fine guy to work with, and he will do everything possible to take care of you.

Could you show pictures?

Well, I used my Schroe 410 at band prac tonight. Siiiiicck! (In a good way).
Sounded real awesome, it was seriously the best the bands ever sounded really. It was so full and chunky, yet clear and not muddy. I was using the overdrive on the V8 (gain II) and it actually sounded really sweet with the two guitars, I had to fiddle a bit to make the distortion cut through better, but clean cut through like a knife. Even the guitarists who usually wouldn't even notice the bass :p said how good it sounded.. That it was no longer muddy and boomy. That they could now hear me withour taking over the whole band in a big mess.

Great fun :) After the gig this w/e i'll post a full review. I'm a bit tired now anyway..
