Since we're posting pics, here come some of my new big rig (yeah, went even bigger than the 310212).

Most of the time, one 410 will suffice. Then again, the full stack puts out a hell of a sound. Nice to know I can provide bass in stereo for almost any medium size gig without any pa support :P

Aloha TOM NEVES,

The cab I bought is the Mini12+ FR.

The "+" indicates that it has a tweeter (titanium) and the "FR" means flight-ready. The cab has metal corners instead of plastic and a carpet covered hard cover to protect the speaker.

Jorg says that his cabs don't need a "break-in" period but I didn't push the Mini at all and it seemed to handle my iAmp800 just fine. We'll see what happens on my first full band gig!

Oooohhh. Pretty. What's with the red stripes though? Did you put those there, or did they come that way?

Is the tweeter the way to go?

The red stripes are to match Trace Elliot cabs. These Schroeders have NOS Trace Elliot green carpet as well as steel corners and the red stripes. Here's a pic of the Trace 4x10:

Having played the 21012, 1212 and 1210 I know these cabs absolutely rock. I can't imagine what this can do. I would move away from the stage a little if I saw this at a gig. :smug:

OMG, man! "almost" any medium sized gig ?!?
how many forms of hearing protection do you use simultaneously in that medium olympic sized arena?

btw, in case noone has gotten it yet, Jorg's cabs and service are The Best (i've encountered,) bar none!!!

I have a large outdoor venue to play at Thursday night, so I got out my 410, 1210, eden navigator, and qscplx1602 and wired it all together....YOIKS! That's powah!

Also: where's the "signature dustcaps" on your
"Schrace Cabs (tm)?"








or is that Schoelliotts?

Dang that's so sweet though.

I want to do something to the Schroe, don't know if Jorg will mind or not though. I was thinking of getting someone to paint/make another logo/plate that's in trace green to match the V8.

Next thing on my list is a 1212.. I'd love to add a 21012, but, ya know :p I need one light weight cab :p

I am absolutely intrigued by the responses these cabinets are generating..118 pages of comments! I went to the site, and I am even more impressed by the variety of people using them. But I have a question of all you Schroader users here:

The glowing testimonials about stage volume/low end are amazing. I am assuming though, that none of you are going through a PA. At the stage volume a lot of posts are claiming, the first thing the sound guy would do is pull you out of the PA mix. This of course depends on the size of the venue, and I have duly noted that a lot of you are reviewing these cabs based on your garage rehearsal sites. So..are you mic'ing the cabs because you love the sound? Or do in fact most of you perform without a PA? I have tried to discern whether or not the reviewer is in a wedding band, where the only thing in the PA is the vocals..or a metal band where nobdy cares because the guitar is so loud that you have to be blaring on stage..or a lite jazz thing where there really is no PA..but for the majority..it seems that you are going into a PA, and indeed the room sound is mixed directly through this.

now the reason I am asking is that I am in a group that mixes several sorts of instruments..turntables..acoustic reed instruments..acoustic drums..and I also play synth bass as well as bass guitar. It is imperative that the mix is the most important thing..obviously the reed player and the turntablist don't carry their own amplifiers (ok, maybe NOT so obvious to some) so..in this instance, where exactly does the cabinet fit in? I guess I could see it as an onstage bass monitor for myself..but there are sidefills and wedges for that purpose..anyone care to comment here?
