So if I am used to playing on an Ampeg cab (SVT-410HLF) which is regarded as fairly aggressive sounding then these might be right up my alley huh?

I play Jazz and P-basses and fingerstyle about 95%, pick 5%.

Im looking to drop the portly 110lb Ampeg but really dont want to sacrifice volume and would like to add a bit more booty. So these sound perfect. Maybe the 21012 or the 101010?

I've been playing a Aguilar GS210 and GS410 powered by my DB 750 for a couple of years now. It sounds great, but I'm tired of lugging around this stuff..I'm in a rather loud band, so I need the power and cab's.

Which cab/cabs would give me the volume and beef of the Aggie stuff?

I'm very tempted to try one of these. Maybe 2 if I need to.

I know someone here can compare the Aguilar to the Schroeders.

I'm thinking a 1010 on top of a 1212 would be a super match up. That or the 410...

2 smaller cabs that can swallow the Aguilars...With trunk space to spare..I'd be in heaven

These sound pretty amazing.

Lets say Im in a hardcore heavy loud band against two guitarist once with a 100 watt Marshall half stack and the other with a 100 watt Boogie half stack, would a 410 and a 1212 being pushed by 900 watts be enough?

What if we turn those half stacks into full stacks?

i can't say for 100% sure. but i think the 4x10 and the 2x12 would effect the tides.

I went to Jorg's studio and tested the 1210 and the 410 cabs. So you know Jorg is a very cool guy to work with. I have a Eden WT-800 and a Aguilar GS410. Both of the cabs I tested were very loud cabs. I like the tone of my Aguilar GS410 better than both of the cabs I tried, but his cabs will kick the crap out of my Aggie as far as volume goes. My Aggie will fart out at the volume I want it at, his will not. The only complaint I have about his cabs is that they seem to be lacking in the high end department(tons of low though). I will eventually get the 410 cab from him and try it out on a band rehersal because you can never really tell how a cab sounds just by itself.

Wasn't this type of driver arrangement a feature of the German-made TECH brand of amps and cabs?

There was a bit of a "buzz" about these amps back in the early to mid 90's. They used drivers with white-colored cones if I remember correctly. Anyone else recall these?

Is Jorg German? Maybe he was TECH's in-house amp "guru" once-upon-a-time!
