Second date

I am not meaning to troll as it seems some people on here actually have an interest in my thread and how things are going. If I am then sorry.

To sum it up more recently I have not seen her since last Friday and the last time I heard anything back from here was Monday saying thanks for the gift bag but no response after that and then at around 11:30 yesterday we wished me Happy Birthday and again that was it with no other response. In reality we are in an age of text'ng to make things more convenient right? I fail to understand why sometimes 5-10 seconds cannot be taken to respond to someone or even if it takes longer just a response in general would be nice.

I met up with one of my really good friends last night for a few drinks for my B-day and told him about my situation. My friend told me it sounds like to him that I may just be an option to her at this point...sure she is busy but that cannot be an excuse all the time and if she really cared anymore enough she would reach out a little more despite being busy and also for example knew I wanted to see her again before she left for Cali yesterday but went up South Dakota over last weekend and got drunk with her friends and did not get back until late Sunday. During the week she never reached out either.

I am going to leave her alone during this week because she's in Cali, but when she gets back see if she cares enough to reach out to me and if not by middle of next week I may try to plan something that weekend we can get together and then just bring some things to the table with her. My friend tells me it about the time to put some of the cards on the table too and let her know my true intentions with her and that I like (not love, too early) her. That way she either feels the same or kicks rocks. Gotta do it in a but of a non forceful but playful way. Should be fun...

Don't get me wrong I appreciate a fun good time too, but something tells me there is more to her, I am starting to see perhaps the "I still just want to go out and party" type of attitude. I am 28 and she is 26 for those who are interested. I just know this is a two way street not one.

Personally I find texting to be a terrible form of communication, so I generally don't text girls I'm interested in to just talk. ¿Possibly she is the same way?

Nobody was calling you a troll, we're just having some fun.

I think she's "fauceting" you. That's a term me and my buddy have when chicks, well, grab the faucet handle and turn it off. I don't think she's prude, I think the reason she's avoiding intimacy is that it's easier to hold her feelings in control. I've been through situations like this a dozen times so I have clarity on it- it's also one of the reasons I'm married :)

I wasn't referring to you as a troll. Some of the rest of us? Well....

Actually, I think we all are interested, so that's why we keep reading and replying. And, I'm truly sorry if you take some of our advice! :p

If you gotta think about it this much, it ain't worth it, imo. Hit her up and see if she's into it. Then you'll know where you stand. Take the reins or bail. If you dilly-dally trying to figure out what she's thinking, you're wasting your time. Plenty of other fish in the sea, my friend.

You're too nice. She's probably already doing someone else. I've never understood it, but for some strange reason, some women just like ********.

Tell her straight up what you're thinking (in person, no texting), and let the chips fall where they may. You're going to make yourself crazy trying to read her mind.

This is directed at me isn't it?

I knew it, you're just out to discredit me and my well-intentioned relationship advice!:spit:

I can give great advice with the best of you!:p

For example, the OP should warm up a hot dog to body temperature and sneak up behind the gal and stick the end against her cheek. Her reaction should tell him right away if she's really into him.

If the OP had taken my earlier advice, he would already know where he stands with this girl......

Also take her out for barbequed ribs. Never trust a girl that won't eat ribs on a date, especially the first or first few dates.....those chicks are no good.

Another good way to get ready for your first sexual encounter with her is to ask her how many guys she's been with, how big was the biggest ones schlong, and how many times she's orgasmed in a single session. You need to know where the goalposts are and what it's going to take to seal the deal. It's a little bit like watching video of the other team when strategizing a football game.

You? Nah, you give great advice. :D

Thanks guys again for all the tips and advise...and few laughs. Like I said I have not talked to her since last Friday (I still kick myself for committing to meeting her friend and bringing one my friends out, cannot help but wonder like girls do if her friend filled her head with a bunch of crap thoughts about me). I logged into Facebook today because someone I work with messages me and in the feed I noticed she had posted a few things about Cali.

I tried text'ing her back on Wednesday after she wished me happy birthday and no response, so I simply sent her a quick and simple Facebook message (I don't want to call her obviously or text her as rates may be ridiculous for long distance) and I figured since she has been posting stuff on Facebook she would see it faster. I simply asked how things were going with the competition? Well...yep it mentioned she saw the message about a minute after I sent it, but up till now still no response.

Sure many would say perhaps she is busy, but really how much longer would of it took to write me a quick response back over how long it took her to write on her wall or go through and like what everyone else has wrote so far? Not trying to sound bitter but really it is annoying since like I said I have not heard anything from her at all for a week.

Basically I have come to the conclusion I need to just take the reigns and when she gets back get her out or get with her face to face next week/weekend since she'll be back and just tell her whats on my mind and how I feel. Not in a way that is forceful but just one that is honest and straight forward. I really like this girl however I do not want to be on a one way street or be like my friend say "an option."

Hey, no thinking like a girl allowed. You will have to leave the clubhouse if you keep it up. She's acting like a guy! You need to explain proper stereotypical gender roles to her. She's the one who is supposed to be wondering what's going on. You are the one who is supposed to burp and be uncommunicative. She's the one who's supposed to need a response, and you are the one who is supposed to wonder what that's all about. Get with the program, man! I suggest a bottle of scotch and a movie with a whole lot of explosions, car chases, and naked women. Then a good roll in some dust. Then a session wrenching on an old, greasy engine. You will feel much better, and you will look like an action hero. Girls can't resist a greasy action hero, so you WIN!

No laughing. I'm always very, very serious.

Slightly less serious - it's not in your power to make her do whatever it is she's going to do or think whatever it is she's going to think. You would have met her friend eventually anyway, so that was inevitable. Forcing things usually makes them break, in my experience, but if you want a clean break, then that's how to get one. Let it go and see what happens when she gets home. It's easy for me to say and hard for you to do, but knotting yourself up will only get you knotted up. It won't make her do anything different.

True, eff'ed up or not and as many would say "don't even try to figure out a woman" it does seem the more you don't care, ignore them and generally treat them bad the more they seem to want you...yeah talk about eff'ed up. I see it all the time, generally speaking the guys who do not have a pot to pi** in reap all the rewards...it's always funny though when most of them do eventually "wise up" and then complain non-stop about their own error of their ways.

I'm just going to let it go and play that I don't care card. I have made two attempts now to just ask how things are going with no response even though since my Facebook message she has had the time to change her profile picture and write responses to a few others...in fact I found out how well they did when she told another one of her friends on Facebook how they did and also thanked them for all their support! Uhh...apparently my gift bag I gave her before she left and good luck was not an idea of support and caring...damn.

Effed up or not, ignoring her means you care. Let her earn your affection too. Unfortunately some women can only respect a man if he doesn't care *too much*. Be of the mentality that she doesn't want you, no big loss.

Along these lines are right. All your reaching out is pitiful. Drop it and move on. If she wanted you, you'd know it. She'd be communicating. If you think pestering her will flip a switch in her and make her want you, you have no clue about human behavior. Even your posts emit a pheromone of desperation. Sorry but gawd.

If some woman you didn't want to breed with kept pestering you wouldn't you ignore her until she gave up? Ignoring is the cowardly and easiest way to say NO.

Stop initiating contact and look for another lady.
