He was disappointed over the manner of his suspension. When it was over he just made other use of his time.

Have spoken to him multiple times about big life changes and a big move. He's alive and well.

I misinterpreted this last night, taking it to mean "I'm an average player." Guess I needed a night's sleep and morning coffee.

now it takes me two days to recover from a late night gig instead of just one!

I was looking back and saw I did 2 consecutive nights about 12 years ago. Seems like a pipe dream now. Plantar fasciitis during my volleyball days started that. Several orbits around the sun since then doesn't help--but it sure beats the alternative.

Never said I was a great bass player. An average one. or a bad one. Just said that at this point in my life, I'm better now than I ever was in the past.
