I just downsized from an older PT-2 board to a Nano+. I ditched all of the stuff I used to need when I was doing live hiphop and we'd fired a keyboardist, had no replacement yet, but still needed some of those sounds. These days I'm either doing funky white guy RnB (similar to Alan Stone, Vulfpeck, Joey Dosick, Eric Hutchinson, etc.) or corporate/wedding/private gigs. Neither of those require more than the basic octave, overdrive, filter, fuzz and a tuner setup I've got on the board currently. Makes load-in/out and packing the van easier too!

Forgot to ask when I picked up that power supply (thanks again ) where you got those aluminum barefoot buttons?

I was hoping I could get some advice from you Tetris wizards: below is loosely what I'd like my board to look like (just received the metro 20 about 5 min before I took the pic). I'll be powering them off of my Truetone Cs6. Any advice for cabling? And does anyone here do the masking/painters tape trick before applying Velcro to prevent residue? View attachment 3669811
EBS flat patch cables, silver or gold tips

Anybody use a Cioks DC7 under a Pedal Train Nano+? Looks like it should work. I am using two power supplies, the 15v 400ma wall wart that powers my Radial pre and a cheap OneSpot clone. Less than an elegant solution. Plus the onespot hums when I use it in the quiet church environment. The Cioks looks like it will solve all of my worldly problems but at a price.

I have used one under a regular Nano (I think they have the same clearance?). I used the thin black version of Dual Lock with no problems. I imagine if you went any thicker (like velcro or the other Dual Locks) you might have problems though.

You don't have much/any wiggle room in terms of swapping front row pedals with back-rail pedals due to the sizes. So it's pretty much just deciding if you like the order in each row.

I, personally, would flip both the hummingbird and the C4 180*. For one, I like the pedals on each end of the back row with their footswitches on the outside/ends (I also have a Metro20). It makes them easier to access with less risk of stepping on knobs on adjacent pedals or pedals in the front row. That applies more to the C4. Then with the Hummingbird and Octabvre switches close together, you can just use 1 or 2 switch toppers to make them easier to click if needed, and there's less risk of hitting knobs to the right of each footswitch.

This set-up is also helpful if that back row is actually reflective of the order of your pedal chain. Then you have shorter connections from jack to jack for each pair of pedals and just need one longer cable run between the hummingbird and octabvre.

Also, you might end up wanting switch toppers on certain switches of the Ditto, Tensor, and Rubberneck, since that's a tight squeeze.

I've been on pedal binge and a lot of them are pricey/might not be for me in the long haul. I've seen people do different things (including putting tape between the Velcro and the pedal) so the Velcro can be removed without messing up the finish/leaving residue
I figured that's what you meant. I'd be afraid of pulling the tape off when you go to left the pedal, but now I'm thinking you're using the Velcro pretty sparingly while you decide if it's a keeper. Don't the feet that come attached to most pedals get in the way? I'd probably just use a ziptie if I wasn't sure about keeping something
