UPDATE:Went to a music store over the weekend that only sells pedals just to look around. 2 hours later, left with a few new pedals. Got a BYW Blacky Blower going into a Walrus Audio Julianna going into a Polytune mini and finally into a Strymon Nightsky. Everything is powered by an MXR Mini Iso-brick. The Nightsky was the biggest surprise. Never tried a reverb before and this pedal can do that and so much more. Haven't even scratched the surface. Can't wait to try the board out full-volume at practice tonight. View attachment 4154975
How do you like the mini iso brick?UPDATE:
Added one more pedal to the board. I was looking at a synth-type pedal and really enjoyed that EQD Bit Commander could do that and more. I had to get a little creative with pedal placement since I really like the size of the Pedaltrain Metro 16 and didn't want to change boards. I really love this board now, first one in a long time that has stayed together and I haven't fiddled with too much. View attachment 4179984
I like it a lot. Dead quiet and it comes with its own splitter so you can run 5 pedals off of 4 outlets. I have the Polytune and the Blacky Blower on the splitter and haven't had an issue yet.How do you like the mini iso brick?
Thanks. Looking seriously at this one.I like it a lot. Dead quiet and it comes with its own splitter so you can run 5 pedals off of 4 outlets. I have the Polytune and the Blacky Blower on the splitter and haven't had an issue yet.
Hi all, quick question-
I'm assembling a small pedal board, have a power supply, now looking at cables-
What do you use to connect your pedals? I'm using mostly Boss type pedals, except for one odd Donner pedal.
Looking for efficiently compact, of course.
Thanks.

Are you talking about power cables or patch cables?
If path, I use EBS Gold flat cables. Love them!

what is the blackstone like/how would you describe it?Decided to try an MS-60b again. I think this is the third time. I look at it as a tuner with some extras lol. Kind of nice to dial in some phaser or slow gear here and there. We will see if it sticks.

You’d have to have really long legs! And Lord help you if a cable goes out.I declare this to be unplayable.
But that probably just shows what a rookie I am.
