Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Noble pre, SVT BassRig, Cali76 CB, DCX BASS, ST-300 mini, and 6 LBA 2020Ss all on a PT Nano +. It still all fits in the PT soft case too! Need to do a bit of cable clean up, but otherwise, compact?

I have five LBA2020s (three original, two steel-core). But that row of six is magisterial. Well done!

...so that's 2.68 lbs and $115 ea. (on sale) for the LBA 2020 job, plus cables and the elevator addition...:cigar:

That's cool! Are you able to describe the differences?
No. It's magic.

JK. It's electrical engineering.
I'll give this a shot. Maybe @Low F# will agree, maybe not. The saturation of the transformer, especially when hit by a hot signal, introduces more midrange and upper frequency harmonics. The coloration is quite pleasing, and because the harmonics are more present in the mids and upper echelon of the highs, to me it almost sounds like a slight scoop in the lower trebles or even, depending on how the high frequencies are colored, a high-end roll-off . There's plenty of discussion in the Lightning Boy Audio thread. The effect is compounding, which is why more 2020s in a chain make the tonal change more audible. Therefore, the key is to use more than one LBA. With just one, I find the effect inaudible. And, indeed, plenty of folks on here have decided the effect is too subtle to be worth it; at the same time, plenty of folks have several of these under their board. And that's actually a secondary benefit that isn't really discussed: having a few of these under your board make running cables so much easier because they break up weird distances and jack placements.

Anything that's so good you need 6 of them to get the full effect, you've definitely got to lock that down

lol you have a point. But the reality is that most pedals don't employ transformers (that's why stuff like the Origin Effects Cali76 TX and Doc Lloyd DLA-2A are so big, and so in demand) and vintage studio consoles do so if you want that genuine transformer saturation from a pedalboard... Lightning Boy Audio has you covered.

This is from the gig last night. Does nearly everything for me. Planning on replacing the tuner and chorus with a plethora x3 at some point but I will surely miss the easy access to daisychain power for the wireless from the tu-3. Pedaltrain nano, powered by cioks 4 and will happily run a full gig from usb power bank when needed.

I just picked up a Cioks 4, what capacity power bank are you using?
