Show me your compact pedalboard setup

I don't think it's possible to pack more power into a 9" x 6" space than this.

The "pedalboard" is an Ikea APTITLIG cutting board covered in a sheet of velcro and with some leftover pedal rubber feet attached

Can be run off the HX Stomp power supply, or using a rechargable power brick

I’ve been doing a lot of gigging with this board lately. Working out so good I’ve been finding new homes for a lot of my other pedals:

Sonic Research Tuner - once you’ve gotten accustomed to how fast and stable it is in Always On mode it’s hard to live without it for live shows.

Drop - I play a 4 string. Eb is no fun without this pedal. It’s true bypass and can do the octave thing as well.

Bass Clone - With its built in crossover and tone controls, this cheapy chorus pedal is really good live in a loud environment. Tried a dozen modulation pedals in this spot and keep coming back to this or an MXR Phase 95 run in the more subtle Phase 45 and Script mode.

Darkglass Infinity - if you’re a fan of Darkglass distortions this pedal is very hard to beat. Even though it’s digital it sounds as good or better, IMO, than their classic B7K and Vintage Deluxe pedals. The clean amp sim, the unigain compressor, and assignable cab sims make this extremely versatile and easy to use in live settings. I have one of the two 1/4” outs with cab sim and run the ‘without’ to my amp. The XLR out goes to the house mixer. I’m a huge fan.

That case shape is doing my head in - what make is it, and can you take a side pic? That stagger looks like a good design.

Hey Btbp, This is my smaller board, the case is a modified DAP Audio D7403 (for Scanmaster lighting controller). Here's the closest pic I have of a side view of this version -

On a side note, I now have the MiDi out of the HXFX going to the MiDi in of the IR-200 for simple Program (preset) changes between the two. It's working great.

While I'm here, here are the simple signal chain diagrams of this board -

Well that just does my head in even more, all those pro level graphics.

In another life I would have continued what I was doing with building things, having tools, etc. to do stuff like this but alas I took a different path. I admire the designing and building of this kind of stuff as much as I do the utility of it.

I don't know about pro level, but thanks man!

This was super-helpful, cheers. Never even considered stacking pedals like this. I left my JDI and ProDI off-board for that reason, never thinking I could put stuff on top of them. That will make future pedal boards so much more fun to build! Thanks!

Got this built over a few evenings a while back. I'm not sure if it qualifies as compact? But I did cram a good amount on.

Board:
Creation Music Company Flat series, 18x12.5"

Signal flow:
Bass --> Creation Music Company patch bay -->
Stomp --> (stomp loop with Octabvre and C4) --> Capo --> Lehle P-Split --> IEM (Tasty Blender) amp and/or amp

Powered by a Strymon Zuma. Stomp and C4 frequently controlled by a MC6 Pro and Dunlop Mini X for expression. The SA168 midi adapter for the C4 is underneath the Capo, which is on a riser from FixPedalBoards.com (no affliation!). Made nearly all of the cables myself with SquarePlugs and Canare wire.

Apologies if it's a repost, didn't bother checking the old posts.

Anyway...Joyo Orange Juice FTW. Lows for ages. One is an always-on, barely-dirty, preamp-like pedal, the other one is for overdrive.
The OJ and FOH combo is amazing. Don't know what kind of cabsim is in the FOH (I'm not even sure if I can call it a cabsim at all....) but it sounds fantastic!

My only gripe is that as of late there is a lot of interference coming from my Cioks 4 PSU. Never experienced it until a few days ago or so...I had to move the DI box on top of the board (same for some patch cables) to keep it at a safe distance from the PSU. Clueless.

My quest is over. This bad boy does everything I want and sounds amazing. All thanks to the TB community!

In case anyone was curious about my signal path:
Mute Switch > Cali76 > Capo Post-Preamp Loop Send > HX Stomp with More in Effects Loop > Broughton ParaEQ > Capo Loop Return

Big fan of the pedal selection, but trust me, it’s never over :)
