I finally got around to building my "fave of everything I use" board. I have a "thing" for a small board. In my world it has to be small enough to fit on top of an average 112 cab, since I often prefer it off the floor. 16" is my self-imposed length limit and I avoided 2 row designs until this one. The NUX Bumble Bee split level eliminates access problems. Its' useable surface is 9.5 X 11.5". On my previous 16", single row boards I didn't have enough room for my Glass Butterfly multi-mod or micro Q-tron so I used smaller options that were OK but suboptimal for my likes. I had a looper at the end but its' tuning/tracking of low B weren't great, and I had to finger push the selector buttons to toggle between tune and loop functions; this setup allows a good tuner at the beginning as well, so I can leave the looper on loop setting all the time. I am feeling strangely "board stable" at the moment ;)

I'm really liking it. Using it for the PolyCapo, the octavers, a compressor when I need more than the DG unit offers, and the filters contained therein. I never need more than one of these effects so it suits me really well.

No stacking of effects with the One, right? Curious if there's any lag/dead time when switching between patches? I've got my eye on these as more reviews come out. I use sparing delay and modulation, and this could give me more variety in a single unit.

yep, single effects only. When I get home from work I’ll see about patch change lag for ya.

3 pedal Nano challenge: Focus comp>COG R-1>Broughton Messenger V1. A little bit of overhang on this PT nano powered by a cioks dc5 but nontheless sounds killer. how bout you my brothers what are your 3pedals compact board choice? View attachment 5276861

I’ll bite… no overhang on either

3 pedals, powered by a one spot cs6 pro:

Technically this is only 2 pedals, powered by a cioks dc7 and a tube DI:

I’ll see your 3 and raise (lower?) you 1. Is it fair to use a multi?

Thank you kabayan! Yeah, super timely on my move to the stomp. The noble patch is an easy fave of mine! No regrets replacing my C4 with the Doom2 and Octabvre. Also a tick off my bucket list. I'm in love! Always inspired by your board too and most TBers!
