Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Opinions are fine. But you phrased it in a way that sounded like I had to do what you said, you merely suggested that I should do something, you just said: “do that, because I think it’s not good”, in a nutshell.

Hence why I responded the way I did. At the end of the day I do what I want; and I don’t have a problem with you having an opinion, I have a problem with how you expressed it, as if I was in the wrong for organising MY pedalboard MY way…

Oh, and in 15+ years on TB, I never received any negative feedback, yet you just took the time to leave me a negative feedback on my profile for challenging your comment.
You posted, I gave you my opinion as well on your comments, and you thought it warranted some negative feedback?

Who’s “touchy touchy” here?
Yeah, lighten up as well. Thanks.
fwiw I was here in 2000. I just lost my handle.

I’ll ignore now. It’s what the button is for. Like I said. Nice board I just had one feedback.

By breathing room I meant like a small gap like the others for visual sake. That’s all.

To each their own and ymmv. Such are the way of the forums.

I did it again.. realized my envelope filter kinda sucked so went shopping for a new one. Tried a bunch. Earthquaker Spatial Delivery was spectacular but a little pricey. I wound up with a pre-owned Digitech Bass Synth Wah. And I’m done again until I’m not!

Anyone here run a mini on top of their head and then another on the floor?

I have some always on pedals I may as well keep off the floor. Aside from some OD I’m kinda set and forget. Actually, same with OD.

Not quite.....but sort of....I favor boards small enough to sit either on the head or floor. This is the current iteration of my medium board-13.5" long, built on the pedal platform of a Chemistry Holeyboard. My small "board" fits in a 9" plastic case and the "large" one is a D'Addario XPND set at 16".

Board 1 is my main board. The Bello Street Driver 48 provides a wide range of distorted tones. I just love how it interacts with the Zio on low drive settings and really does give a lot of saturation. I can use it stand alone as well with fabulous results. This board sounds great into the front of a bass head or straight to FOH.

Board 2 is set up as my practice board. Using the Hotone Jogg for its headphone and aux in functions only (although it does function great going into a DAW). Of course the BDDI V2 is all you need!! This is powered by a rechargeable CNZ supply so it’s fully portable. Also sounds great as my small travel board and going into FOH.

So, there are three pedalboards now.

Main board I use when I have my amp, is on a Nano+.

Punchline board is a smaller board (little overhang but that Velcro is not letting the Punchline go anywhere) and used when ampless and just a monitor.

Last board is an old generic board I had. Put some pedals I had acquired and reacquired on it to make a fun board.

Last board came about because over the last three years messing with boards and pedals I’ve traded too much and found myself missing things. So once I figured out what I really liked and what worked well I started getting together other pedals I liked and wanted. Still have a couple more to get, one is going to be a new version of one I love. HX One and Strobo mini do double duty on two boards, but everything can be moved around on boards if I want to try a different combination.

Board three will be updated with a new little bit longer board. I’ll keep the old board around to mess around at home with my Tone Mallet and Donner mini chorus.

Khan VTDI serves as main DI and lives off the boards. Have and will have other DI options as well. Should be finished by January then it’s time to start saving towards a couple of basses as there are two passive basses I want, a Jazz and a P. Jazz will get a preamp with passive option, so it’ll be passive when I want that.

TL/DR; boards below

Here is the current iteration of my minimalist « board » …. a 7 x 9 inch generic plastic case from Amazon……. sits on top of my amp. mounting the Broughton HPF on its side allows me to plug my instrument cable vertically, which is a bonus.

Which power supplies are folks favoring?

I still default to voodoo labs but curious what the TB says.

For attaching underneath a small board, I like the Trutone CS6. Doesn't quite offer the same level of voltage flexibility as a Cioks DC7, which is probably *the* go-to power supply these days, but it's also only about 2/3 of the cost, and seems to be quite the robust piece of kit.
