Show me your compact pedalboard setup

I have owned the Corona Chorus & currently own the MXR bass chorus.

No problems with frequency response on the Corona , with the tone print editor you can really fine tune it if you want.

There are even bass tone prints from Duff McKagen & more.

It sounds great. I slightly preferred the MXR Bass chorus I thought it was slightly warmer , the TC might have had a pinch more shimmer on top. Either one is a great chorus and I would use without disappointment.

I'll also throw this out there my MXR has just been bumped from the board by an Ibanez CS-9 chorus. It is THE Duff Appetite for Destruction chorus sound !! I mean it should be it's what he used on that album but anyway it sounds great on bass 2 knobs and the effect level is perfect & no low end loss.

How does that Corona Chorus sound? Does it have any problems with killing the bass frequencies (since it's marketed is a guitar pedal)? Have been considering an MXR Bass Chorus, but the Corona (and it's mini sibling) is intriguing.

I like it alot...sounds great with bass and there are some nice toneprints for it.

Have you ever tried the balanced output from the AT System 10 Stompbox directly to mixing console/recording interface?

Yes, it works perfectly.

I prefer to use the Radial for a few reasons. I can run my tuner right from the thru out. I also dont have to worry about getting my hands on an angled 1/4 inch to XLR. balanced cable.

Passive transformers have that nice warmth, especially Radial products.

I tried the Corona, didn't like it.. I see where it works great for lots of folks, but I'm a set it and forget it guy... knob twisting drives me nuts..

I have a Providence Anadime Bass chorus... it's the best chorus I've ever used. I love it!! It has an HPF on it, which works wonders for dialing out any mud in the lower frequencies that chorus can cause... you should check it out

The Digitech Nautila has a HPF for the chorus as well, and is the best chorus I've ever tried

Here's my new small board. Order goes from top right to left. I'm never sure whether to put the filters/synth before or after the octave. Will most likely move the bananana before the fuzz and move the HoF to the end, but I needed to stack the minis to make enough room for all to fit.

Really nice pedals. Is that an upside down Metro board?

Hi,

TEC, Good call on the pedal order. Much improved with octave+gated fuzz before envelope filter.

J5bass, it's a Pedaltrain Mini (i guess 'discontinued' but not upside down).

Just wish I could fit my Prunes & Custard on it as well! Went ahead and ordered a 6 pack of Mogami 6" cables with pancake connectors from Amazon in an effort to tighten up the gaps.

Return those Mogami cables and go order some EBS flat patch cables. It might not save enough space to fit the Prunes, but they are absolutely the lowest profile, much smaller than even pancake connectors.

Nice Preamp @9mmMike . The M81 seems to be gathering a bit of a following after largely going under the radar when they were first released.
I really like it...plus I run the DI to an H1 at our shows and we use that along with a recorder that is sitting by the guitar and the audio from the video we shoot to get a nice blended track for the video's. It works really well.
And I have that DI as a safety-net should the amp fail. Big fan of the M81!
